Model measuring transport of airpollutants and processing in the GIS environment for the urban area of Jablonne above O
Jaňour, Zbyněk ; Brych, Karel ; Dittrt, František
The study engages of the transport of airpollutants over a complex urban area. The problem is investigated experimentally in a wind tunnel by using Analyzer IREX. The transfer is simulated using model of a landscape at a scale 1:1000. The obtained results indicate that the terrain morphology is one of the important parameters in the diffusion of pollutants.
Modeling the movement of dangerous gases above the central part of Pardubice town
Dittrt, František ; Brych, Karel ; Jaňour, Zbyněk
The study was focused on the transport of the dangerous gases above the urban area of Pardubice town. The gaseous dispersion was caused after an accident with an outflow of chlorine in the chemical factory. Diffusion fields were simulated using a model of landscape surrounds the chemical plant at scale 1:3000. The results indicate fast decreasing of the surface concentrations due the intensive turbulent mixing inside the urban surface. Measurements were engaged in the tunnel by Infrared Analyzer IREX and results were presented as map layers in GIS.
The interaction of combustion gases with the free watercourse level
Dittrt, František ; Brych, Karel ; Jaňour, Zbyněk
A 3D model of the above mentioned situation was produced which was used to follow molecular concentrations of polluting substances using concurrent infrared gas analysis. This method described in detail the spreading of model combustion gases of motor vehicles from a point and a linear source on the bridge carriageway.
The coordination of regional cooperation with the Pardubicko region
Dittrt, František ; Brych, Karel
This is the first time AV ČR signs a contract with a certain region in the Czech republic. It is based on many years of successful cooperation between a department of the AV ČR and the Sdružení obcí Orlicko.
Balance 2004-2006
Dittrt, František ; Brych, Karel
Since 2004 a tighter general relationship between AVČR and Sdružení obcí Orlicko is created based on a general contract dated from 8th October 2003. Research projects continue by two teams of the AV ČR.
Failure wave simulation after the Pastviny dam break
Brych, Karel ; Dittrt, František
This task deals with an extremely unsteady flow both in the channel and in the flood-plain. Similar solutions of such sudden wave are often unstable and require accurate treatment of boundary conditions and input data. One-dimensional model HEC-RAS was used. Results were evaluated in the ArcView environment.
Rescue Flood Control Planning
Dittrt, František ; Brych, Karel ; Haltmar, B. ; Olešovská, D. ; Holovský, R.
The GIS application H-EDIT flood was developed in the cooperation with Topograf s.r.o and Gefos. This application will be the effective instrument for the integrated system of the rescue and for the regional government for preparing the flood plans.
Database digitization for flood situation modelling of urban areas in the Divoká Orlice valley
Brych, Karel ; Dittrt, František ; Eliáš, Václav
For solution of various hydrological problems in a river basin particularly by means of some mathematical models in the environment ArcView a digital terrain model (DTM) is prerequisite. At present a state map atlas ZABAGED/1 in the form of digital topologic vector data in the 1:10.000 scale is getting available. This system contains land-surface elevation data in a vector format. Following the obtained information the state map atlas is to be completed for the whole state territory in the near future. The described procedure creates a substitute for digital terrain model (DTM) of the river Divoká Orlice valley in the reach affected by the flood in March 2000 with the view of mathematical modeling by means of the HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and WMS respectively. The accuracy of digitalization of the elevation model is lower than the elevation data of ZABAGED nevertheless the model allows preliminary analysis of the flood events with acceptable uncertainty.
