Use storage thermal power in Czech republic
Bednář, František ; Fiedler, Jan (referee) ; Škorpík, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma’s thesis analyzes the possibility of accumulation of thermal power plants in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into several parts. The first part describes the different types of storage power plants, the historical development of power storage for compressed air and the appropriateness of their location. The second part is devoted to the design of storage power plant for compressed air in South Moravia. In the next chapter, a calculation is made of all equipment storage power plant, including turbo-compressor, combustion chamber, combustion turbines, the volume of storage tanks and two heat exchangers. The last part is the economic analysis of the return on investment of such a project.
Modern wireless technologies - 802.11n
Bednář, František ; Molnár, Karol (referee) ; Skořepa, Michal (advisor)
This work describes new standard 802.11n for wireless network. The work contains two parts: theoretical and practical. Theoretical knowledge and understanding our problems will be used in design and simulation wireless network. Theoretical part will discuss about function and methods, which the standard picking over from older standard 802.11a, 802.11g a about new features, that should raise transmission data rate and throughput on MAC sublayer dramatically. Data rate of networks based on standard 802.11n will be comparable with Ethernet networks. Main features that increase data rate on PHY layer is method of multiple antennas calls MIMO and use 40 Mhz channel. On MAC layer will be add frame aggregation that cause linear dependent of throughput on MAC layer and data rate on PHY layer. In practical part we will pay attention simulation of stream video high definition in wireless network. This part contain design and components configuration in network. We will be able to compare simulation results individual standards, by creation of several duplicate scenarios.
Information System Assessment and Proposal for ICT Modification
Hrnčíř, Jan ; Bednář, František (referee) ; Neuwirth, Bernard (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis deals with real company´s information system. Then on the basis of analyzis and analythic methods returns will be designed a proposed changes and improvements with respect to company´s requirements and economics possibilities for increasing the effectiveness of company management and achieving better economical results.
IP traffic performance
Bednář, František ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Mácha, Tomáš (advisor)
The master thesis „IP traffic performance“ is focused on traffic testing in IP networks. Theoretical section explains routing issue in an autonomous system. This work contains a detailed description of OSPF protocol. This work also deals with behavior of a link failure. There are described mechanisms that are used to link failure detection and subsequent traffic rerouting. The next section describes mechanisms to ensure quality of service. In master thesis are explained InterServ and DiffServ mechanisms. A large part is devoted to DiffServ mechanism that ensures distinction of data flows and classification packets into different classes. The routers than can process the individual data streams with different priorities. The practical section includes the design of experimental network and creation of simulation in Opnet Modeler. By using several scenarios are compared the characteristics of routing protocols and impact of QoS on the transmission characteristics of the network. Part of practical section is the improvement of OSPF protocol by adding a new metric and implementing a new metric in software suite Quagga.
Biomass boilers
Bednář, František ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with biomass boilers for heating family house. The thesis is divided into several parts. In the first part are characterized solid fuels, the individual kinds of solid fuels, properties, modifications and processing are described to finishing suitable form for burning. The second part describes individual biomass boilers for house heating. The last part of this thesis compares the selected biomass boilers from an economic perspective.
Change Management in The Selected Organisation
BEDNÁŘ, František
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the environment in the selected organisation and to propose possible measures to improve the current situation. The first part is theoretical, which describes the different theories of change management and the structure of the company. The second part is practical, where the selected organization is examined, its characteristics and an evaluation of the current state with a suggestion for possible changes. The assessment of the current state is by means of a SWOT analysis, for which data was obtained by guided interviews with company employees and observation. Subsequently, quantitative research was conducted to confirm or refute the research assumptions. The last section deals with the design of changes with implementation in the organization. This work could be useful for the company under study or for managers who are involved in change management, as well as for students interested in this field.
