The vaccination calendar and his development concerning children under age 15

Abstract Vaccination is discussed in these days and it separates citizens of Czech Republic to two groups. In the first group, there are protagonists of vaccination, in the second one its antagonists. This Bachelor thesis is a reaction on this situation and it refer not only to history of vaccination, but especially to its importance. The Bachelor thesis "The vaccination schedule and its development in children under 15 years" was processing as theoretical thesis. The purpose of the thesis was charting development of vaccination schedule in children under 15 years and furthermore options, availability, ways of vaccination and follow-up nursing care including possible complications after the vaccination. In thesis, there is not missing part about history and vaccine development against particular diseases, especially against diseases that is subjected to mandatory vaccination. There is also optional vaccination, additional vaccination, divisions of vaccines among the type and sort of vaccines, ways of application, eventually contraindications and complications, role of nurse in connection with vaccination of children and also information about certificate of vaccination. The Bachelor thesis was processing as theoretical thesis with a use of method of analysis, synthesis and explanation. After exploration of all publications, which contributed to creation this Bachelor thesis, were gained knowledge closely developed to sublayers according to lucidity and context. An important finding, which the Bachelor thesis brings, is mainly the importance of vaccination which task is saving people´s lives. Thesis could be used as informative and studying material for nurses and also for general public. It would be a great success if the Bachelor thesis helps to persuasion someone from the antagonists group of sense of vaccination and leads to changing mind on its usage.
