Influences of Social Activation Services for Families with Children on the Prevention of Risk Behaviour in Children and Adolescent

The work deals with the role of social activation services for families with children in the prevention of risky behaviour in children and youth. The aim is to explore whether social activation services for families with children have an impact on the prevention of risky behaviour among children and youth. The theoretical part deals with factors affecting the incidence of risky behaviour among adolescents. Most of the attention is paid to the family. The practical part consists of information obtained from employees of various social services in Litomyšl and Ústí nad Orlicí. It is a summary of their ideas and experience in working with families. Using Place of Facility as an Instrument in Social Service

The topic of this bachelor thesis is how to use place and its aspects in social work. Author chose youth centre as a specific social service and describes its goals and means in first chapter. Second chapter describes needs and weaknesses of the children and youngsters who come to youth centre. Third chapter is dedicated to place and its aspects and how these apects of place influence human experience and behaviour. Author explored the way how social workers use place and equipment of the youth centre during their work with clients in the rest of the thesis. This research took place in three youth centres in Prague. The bachelor thesis ends with summary of possible ways how to use place of the centre and its aspects in order to fulfill goals of this social service and needs of its clients. The topic of this thesis is "The work of temporary foster parents care". It explains what the temporary foster care is. It puts it into the context of others alternative family cares. It approaches the mediation process and the involvement of various social organizations, especially after OSPOD. Using researches conducted in the Czech Republic it shows what people mostly engaged in this form of alternative care. Acquainted with it, what steps had to pass before they were included in the register of applicant. It describes each phase of temporary foster work, from the preparation, anticipation child care, after a difficult period - sending child to the aftercare or back to the family and dealing with it. It also examines the motivations of temporary foster parents, reasons for this service decisions, and why perform it. Also there is included a case report of a married couple foster temporary foster care, where are all the stages shown. This work can serve as an information brochure and for applicants of the temporary foster care. Temporary foster care is related to the trend of deinstitutionalization of social services. This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of human trafficking and focuses on the intersection of sexual exploitation and prostitution. It describes paradigms through which prostitution can be seen, gives the biblical framework to the whole issue of human trafficking and prostitution and presents the biblical view on this subject. It deals also with the issue of sexual exploitation, its conseque-nces, specifics of aftercare and caring organizations. Burnout Syndrome in the Helping Professions

This thesis deals with the social phenomenon called burnout. It describes its definition, process and vulnerable groups. Special attention focuses on the relation between burnout and work in the helping professions, especially in social worker practice. The work also discusses possible ways of prevention and treatment. In the last section, it presents insight into the burnout from a Christian viewpoint. The Risk of Abuse of Power by Caretakers Caring for the Eldery in Retirement Home

This thesis deals with the topic of work with seniors in a home for the elderly in terms of the abuse of power by the carers. In my work I try to outline the issue and seek imaginary limits to how far the relationship may go for both sides. Trying to answer the question: "Do the care workers realize the possibility of abuse of power over the elderly at their work?" The theoretical part tries to outline problems, including definitions, practical part then investigates whether the caregivers are aware of their power over seniors and whether they have this experience in their practise. This part of the work was based on qualitative research through interviews with 11 caretakers and 6 clients in retirement home in Vsetin. To all participants was anonymity guaranteed. From these interviews were created short outputs, which are located at the end of this thesis. At the end is also attached several recommendations and suggestions on how to eliminate risk behavior among older people, or how to prevent risky situations. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
