Domestic violence and its solution with the Police of the Czech Republic and other organizations helping victims of domestic violence

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to introduce the issue of domestic violence, with the focus on the people affected by domestic violence as a target group. The subsequent goal of this thesis is to identify possible solutions in organizations helping the victims of domestic violence. Another goal is to publish current statistics of the increase or decrease in cases of domestic violence in the Czech Republic since the validity of the institute of expulsion pursuant to Act No. 273/2008 Coll., On the Police of the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part presents a comprehensive view of the current state of domestic violence. In this part of the thesis, domestic violence is defined as such and the individual features of domestic violence are described in detail. It also focuses on the characteristics of all participants in domestic violence. In the last chapter of the theoretical part, attention is paid to professional assistance to victims of domestic violence. The aim of the practical part is to describe the issue of domestic violence with the focus on the target group. Another goal is to identify possible solutions in organizations helping the victims of domestic violence. In this part of the thesis, official statistics about domestic violence is presented. This bachelor thesis could serve not only to police officers, students, but also to the general public to obtain more expert knowledge about domestic violence and its comprehensive approach. Moreover, it offers solutions to domestic violence with the Police of the Czech Republic and other organizations that help victims of domestic violence. The thesis can be used as a suitable source of information not only for employees and clients of intervention centres, but also for the general public.
The training of climbing units of basic Integrated rescue services

This bachelor thesis is focused on "The training of climbing units of the basic services of Integrated Rescue System". The thesis is divided to the theoretical and research part. The theoretical part contains the division of basic units of Integrated Rescue System, their development at work at height and basics of methodology for professional climbing training. The theoretical part also consists of necessery means for the training and their further implementation in the work at height. The research part took form of qualitative research. It focuses on mapping out the issue of professional climbing training of the climbing groups in the basic services of Integrated Rescue System. The research part also consists of mapping out climbing equipment necessery needed for the climbing units intervention. Data acquisition took form of semi-structured interviews in which participated 8 climbers from ranks of the Fire Rescue Service in the South Bohemia region, Special Reaction Unit of the Regional Police Directorate for the South Bohemia region and Emergency Medical Service in the South Bohemia region. Due to absence of the uniform climbing methodology among the basic units of Integrated rescue services this bachelor thesis can serve as an approach of professional climbing training among these units and outline the difference between them.
Barley growing in conventional and organic farming system - plant protection methods and greenhouse gases emissions

The aim of this diploma thesis was an evaluation of the environmental aspects of growing of the chosen feeding varieties of a spring barley in various systems of farming. Further purpose of this diploma thesis was a quantification of an emission load bond with the unit of area, and the unit of yield of spring barley, in the scope of conventional and ecological system of farming. The part of this study was a formation of the literature survey about problems of the conventional and ecological growing of the spring barley, with the focus on the agrotechnical requirements and environmental aspects. The practical part was performed in the area of the Faculty of Agriculture in Czech Budejovice.
Agrotechnical demands for establishing growth of the selected annual and perennial energy crops

The aim of this dissertation is to verify the influence of certain agrotechnical procedures during the growing of selected annual and perrenial plants for use as energy sources. The chosen annual plant was maize (Zea mays L.) and the observed perrenial plant was (Miscanthus x giganteus). The literary overview is aimed at agrotechnical requirements, range of uses and the economic aspects of growing the chosen energy crops. The productive potencial of the chosen plants was then assessed on the basis of the individual agrotechnical procedures. The purpose of growing the plants was the creation of phytomass to be used as a raw material in biogas stations. Field tests were carried out for each plant, and the chosen agrotechnical procedures were then judged on the basis of the tests.
