This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of inventory management in the selected company Vera Gurmet. On the basis of knowledge gained from literature, a literary search has been put together describing inventory management, inventory management systems methods and models, and inventory management costs. The practical part describes the selected company and its existing inventory management. Using the ABC analysis, stocks were divided into three groups according to importance and a model with stochastic continuous demand was applied to the most important stock items. Based on a comparison of actual and calculated values, measures to optimize inventory management were proposed.
