The Study of the Operating Production Management
Šolc, Jakub ; Kudlík, Jan (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The subject of master’s thesis "The study of the operating production management” is to rationalize production and distribution of compressed air. The thesis deals with the description of the current state, the analysis of compressed air production and the proposal for rationalization. The basis of this work is to implement lean manufacturing method in the company DI Industrial. The proposed steps are primarily designed for implementation in this firm but their principles and methods could be used in any company that uses compressed air technology. The study includes theoretical knowledge in the range of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma tools and a pneumatics.

The work could be instrumental in an application for a bank loan.
Analysis of fluvial dynamics of montane stream using UAV
Šolc, Jakub ; Langhammer, Jakub (advisor) ; Hartvich, Filip (referee)
6 Abstract In recent decades the field of fluvial geomorphology has moved towards the most detailed and comprehensive description of the processes in fluvial systems. The recent development of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) has been a major contribution in analysis of fluvial processes, it provides very detailed data for change analysis. This thesis deals with the analysis of recent fluvial dynamics using UAV. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes the current theoretical and methodological knowledge from the study of fluvial dynamics and also presents the general principles of UAV monitoring with its use in fluvial-geomorfological research. Recent fluvial dynamics was evaluated in the stretch of Javoří brook in Šumava Mountains where the long-term research is conducted by the Department of Physical Geography and Geoecology. Causal runoff events with an impact on fluvial dynamics were identified on the basis of the analysis of hydrometeorological data covering hydrological years from 2016 to 2020. A total of fourteen events exceeded the threshold of channel-forming discharge Q = 5,041 m3 ·s−1 in the investigated period. Geometrical, morphological and volume changes were evaluated based of the photogrammetric reconstruction of the riverbed during three successive scannings (2015, 2018, 2020). The...
Assessment of river restoration effects based on hydromorphology
Šolc, Jakub ; Matoušková, Milada (advisor) ; Tichý, Vojtěch (referee)
In the field of river restorations, topics being currently discussed are assessing success and quantifying effects that river restoration measures should have. This bachelor thesis deals with an assessment of the river restoration effects based on the hydromorphology. Current knowledge in fields of hydromorphology and fluvial geomorphology are presented in the theoretical part of this thesis. Recent outcomes and methodical procedures that are used to evaluate the effects of river restoration measures are also included. A method was developed based on the theoretical part of this thesis and the method EcoRivHab in order to assess the restoration effects by selected parametres. The method was applied on the restored segment of Litovický stream in Hostivice town in the practical part. The results of the thesis showed what a significant impact the restoration had on Litovický stream (in average +33.74 %). The parameter maximum flow velocity showed the highest effect (+84.9 %). On contrary, the parameter structure of bank vegetation had the only negative effect (-1.8 %). Key words: streams, river restoration, restoration effect, hydromorphology, hydromorphological survey
The theme of death in Terry Pratchett´s Discworld
ŠOLC, Jakub
The aim of this bachelor thesis is focused on the aspects of death in Terry Pratchett´s Discworld. In the first chapters there is an outline of the development of death in literature, linked to particular text samples. Each sample is chosen in regard to the similarity of motifs Discworld stories. The second part of this bachelor thesis continues with the interpretation of individual elements contained in Terry Pratchett´s work, which are connected with death. Possible origins, usage in literature in general and setting in Pratchett´s work are described by each element. Particular elements are considered with respect to their origin and function.
Valuation of the company Suchánek & Walraven, s.r.o.
Šolc, Jakub ; Smrčka, Luboš (advisor) ; Schönfeld, Jaroslav (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to work out the project of determining the value of the company Suchánek & Walraven, s.r.o. to date of 31.12.2015 in case of potential sale of 100% share of the company to potential taker. The first, theoretical, part of the thesis deals with description of basic terms od determining the value of the company as well as single steps of determining the value of the company including used methods of calculation are described detaily. The practical part deals with particular application of knowledge taken from theoretical part into practise. In the beggining there is a short introduction of the company followed by strategic and financial analyses by which external and internal potential as well as the perspective of the company into the future is evaluated. Potential developement is seen through indicators of value and complex financial plan. Financial plan is followed by final evaluation of the company using DCF entity method which is the most principle method of the whole thesis. Another methods are used as well in the thesis.
Methodic of vertical deflections determination of bridge construction by the radar interferometric technology
Antoš, Filip ; Talich, Milan ; Glöckner, M. ; Böhm, Ondřej ; Soukup, Lubomír ; Havrlant, Jan ; Závrská, M. ; Šolc, Jakub
The methodology provides guidance for determining the vertical deflection of bridge structures using radar interferometry technology. The vertical deflection of bridges are primarily caused by stress during transit of vehicles. The deflections are simultaneously measured by radar throughout the length of the monitored structure. The measurement is continuous with a high sampling frequency (200 Hz) and with high precision (0.01 mm). It is believed the use of interferometric radar IBIS-S Italian manufacturer IDS. General recommendations and conclusions are valid for every kind of radar.
Methodics of horizontal movements determination of height objetcs by the radar interferometric technology
Antoš, Filip ; Talich, Milan ; Glöckner, M. ; Böhm, O. ; Soukup, Lubomír ; Havrlant, Jan ; Závrská, M. ; Šolc, Jakub
The Methodics provides a user with an instruction for horizontal movements determination of height objetcs by the radar interferometric technology. The horizontal movements of height objetcs are roused by the weather conditions or by the object fundament instability or by influence of intrinsic forces caused by a mechanic component attached to the object. The movements of the height objetcs are measured simultaneously in the whole length of the monitored object. The measurement is continuous with high frequency (up to 200 Hz) and very precise (up to 0,01 mm). It is possible to measure remotely, without need of accesss to the object, when natural reflectors of radar signal are parts of the object's surface. If the body of the object, resp. attached metal parts have poor reflection, metal corner reflectors have to be attached to suitable places on the object. Interferometric radar IBIS-S of Italian production is supposed to be used. Nevertheless, the general recomendations and conclusions are valid for any other radar device of this kind.
