Bionics in architecture (tree as the source of inspiration)

The work deals with nature prefigurations, which can be used in architecture. The first part is concerned with the bionics in architecture in general. There are introduced all available pieces of knowledge falling within this branch. The second part is focused on the nature prefiguration – tree. The tree was analyzed from different points of view. Suitable principles, which were found, were transformed to the field of architecture. On the basis of children's drawings the changing approach to “tree as a home” during adolescence was charted. The work can serve as a comprehensive supporting document for study of bionics for students of architecture and architects and also for the general public. The work should point out that nature is our great standard for any activity.

Při studiu bioniky v architektuře nesmíme opomenout mimo vědomého analyzování konkrétních přírodních předobrazů i stránku nevědomou. Tím je myšleno, že badatel přírodních systémů a principů se nejen na začátku své vědecké práce, ale i v jejím průběhu, řídí intuitivně. Stejně tak je tomu u architektů, kteří se při navrhování stavby řídí jak teoretickými znalostmi tak také svými vnitřními pocity, náhledy a názory. Tato „intuitivní“ stránka může ovlivnit výsledek práce daleko více než stránka vědomá. Kniha Příroda a kultura Prof. RNDr. Stanislava Komárka, Dr. pojednává souvislosti přírody a kultury v širokém kontextu. Je kulturní proces protikladný přírodnímu, či se jedná mnohem spíše o „pokračování přírody jinými prostředky“? Tento článek má za cíl abstrahovat hlavní myšlenky ve výše uvedené knize, které se bezprostředně týkají tématu bionika v architektuře, a připomenout počátky lidské architektury, které byly ovlivněné pouze přírodou.

Postav dům jako strom

Strom má nespočet inspiračních zdrojů pro návrh domu. Jeho důmyslně fungující systém podtržený optimálním tvarem koruny je z ekonomického hlediska provozu ideální. Tvarování stromu, růst a jeho optimalizace, představuje vhodnou konfiguraci jak pro samotné nároky stromu tak pro přizpůsobení prostředí, ve kterém se strom nachází. To platí i pro návrh stavby domu (např. jiný tvar a skladba materiálů je v samostatně stojícím domu - solitér a v řadovém domu - alej).
