Potencial a part of National geopark Železné hory for sustainable tourism Abstract Submitted thesis deals on the general level with issues of sustainable development of tourism in defined area of National geopark Železné hory. First of all in the theorethical part the tourism is set in the broader context and it is aimed to the issue of sustainability. One of the key part of this thesis is detailed analysis of geopark concept and geotourism, including possibilities of their practical application focused especially on the development of rural area. The main aim of the empirical part of the thesis is to analyze geotourist potential in defined area of Železné hory on the basis of field research between local participants and analysis of accessible materials from the area of interest. Ascertained pieces of knowledge relate to local cooperation in the process of creation and promotion of geotourist products, possibility of increasing the efficiency of current state of tourism in the area and region overall development. The role of interpretation of local heritage in tourism: the example of Dolní Dvůr

Bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of interpretation of local heritage and the cooperation of local inhabitants in connection with the process of creating products and activities based on sustainable tourism. Individual segments of local heritage and territorial identity and their interaction with tourism are defined in the theoretical part. Key part deals with the interpretation of local heritage within the destination management of tourism in countryside. Goal of empiric part is to analyse interpretative infrastructure and promotion of studied location. Semi- structured interviews were subsequently used to determine the level of cooperation within individual actors of tourism as well as the state of sustainable tourism in Dolní Dvůr, village located in the Krkonoše Mountains. Main drawbacks blocking the development of region were then discovered and defined as non-functional cooperation, lack of human sources, not enough developed infrastructure of tourism and interpretation and finally, disinterest of local inhabitants in tourism at all. These weaknesses are discussed with literature and afterwards there are suggested posible solutions. Ecotourism and Geotourism in Case of Czech Geoparks Abstract This bachelor thesis explain issues of sustainable tourism with specialization on a potential of ecotourism and geotourism in Czech geoparks. The theoretical part of thesis is dedicated to impact of tourism on the environment and it highlights necessity of friendly tourism. One of the aims of this thesis is focused on methods of interpterpretation of information about geological, cultural and historical heritage. Special attention is given to information panels along nature trails and their contribution to educate wide range of people. The other part deals with activities offered in geoparks and with quality of services for tourists. Methods of promotion interesting things, activities and services are important points of this thesis. In the final part of analytical unit are presented four European geoparks. Their example may be a source of inspiration for development of Czech geoparks.
