Temporal relationships of Czech Baroque texts
MONDŘÍKOVÁ, Petra
The presented dissertation addresses the issue of expressing temporary relations (the present and the past) in the texts of the authors of the Baroque period. The excerpt includes 44 works of historic literary output. The topic is based on a semantic definition of temporal relationships in the Baroque language and interferes with the paratactic and hypotactic method of expression. Within the scope of paratactic connection of syntactic units, we analyze phrasal connections (the connection of main clauses and the connection of paratactic subclauses), text and phrasal connections, within the scope of hypotactic concentration mainly the relationship of the main and subordinate adverbial clauses of time. The classification according to various paratactic and subordinating conjunctions is led by the effort to obtain a comprehensive overview of the possible ways to express temporal relationships. The aim of the work is to contribute to an analytical examination of the syntactic language level of the Baroque period and to confirm the hypothesis of intact continuity of the language development between the humanistic, Baroque and National Revival periods.

Care Contribution and Control of its Use
SMOLÍKOVÁ, Martina
On January 1, 2007 there are drafting of new social benefits - care contribution. This benefit is defined by the low No. 108/2006 Coll., about social services. Making this law has brought in this area, many fundamental changes. Except that there was created a new conception of social services, their types, forms and conditions of the provision, but also introduced a new approach to finance for people in adverse social situation need help. To this time well improved allowance for the care of a relative or other person being replaced care contribution. It is conceived as a only one cash benefit social service system. It is called a subsidy on the head, the idea is the think that the person who needs care is financially at least to some extent independent and can have their choice needed service to "buy". The degree of dependence on the assistance of another person is determined in four levels - it should allow detailed, reliable and yet highly individual assessment of the needs of people. Main goal thesis was to explore experiences with inspections focusing on the use of contribution care, intermediate objectives were to identify the limits of process control from the view of social workers and detect the most common areas of deficiencies in the framework of implemented controls. Qualitative research was done by polling technique and for this reason was used semistructured interview. Concept of interview was based on six tematic parts. The data were collected from January to March 2016. The research group consisted of 10 social workers selected purposeful selecting at each contact point of the Labour Office of the Czech Republic, Regional branch České Budějovice. Social workers are in the process of inspections limited mainly personnel, it means a shortage of staff the department of non-insurance social benefits, deciding on benefit care contribution. The work done feedback from the perform inspections control one of the non-insurance social benefit for care and can prompt discussion on possible subsequent modifications.

Security strategy of the Czech Republic in relation to international migration in cause of instability and regional conflicts in and around the Euro-Atlantic area.
KORČÁKOVÁ, Simona
The theoretical part presents the various international organizations dealing with the security situation in Europe and also the immigration policy of the Czech Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany. Immigration policy in Germany is included on the grounds that in 2015 it was Germany that has become a country facing the greatest influx of migrants, to the point where the number of registered asylum seekers in the local asylum system exceeded 1 million. Germany, unlike the Czech Republic, has long-term experience in the area of asylum and immigration policy. Moreover, it tries to approach the immigration in a positive way, among others in an effort to fill gaps in the labour market. Germany takes providing assistance to people fleeing war as a moral obligation, and urges other countries to show the same solidarity. As a member state of the European Union and other organizations, the Czech Republic must act according to the rules that international communities enforce, thereby it surrenders, to some extent, its sovereignty when taking the relevant decisions. The aim of present work was to determine threats posed by the acceptance of immigrants and to propose ways to minimize these threats. A secondary aim was to compare the system of refugee reception in the Czech Republic and abroad, particularly in the Land of Bavaria, Germany, that the migration wave in 2015 affected the most of all federal states. In order to obtain the documents necessary to achieve the objectives, we started working with the landlord of an accommodation facility intended for applicants of international protection, in Goldbach (Germany). There we tracked the asylum and integration process of accommodated refugees. To compare the approach in the Czech Republic, we chose the progress and development of the Czech project Generation 21 on the resettlement of Iraqi refugees into the country. Additional information was drawn through lectures and panel discussions with experts on this issue. All the data contributed to answering the research question: whether the strategy of the Czech Republic in terms of receiving refugees has any perspective. The chapter "Results" is devoted to the EU's efforts to create a new, more efficient mechanism that would respond more flexibly than the current system of migration and asylum policy in the EU. In May 2015, the EU submitted to its Member States the "European Programme for Migration", that among others proposed so much publicly discussed mechanism of relocation, resettlement, and hotspot system and return policy. In this case, the work evaluated the proposal, using statistical data obtained from the official databases of the EU, and also thanks to the contribution of Czech experts. In addition, this chapter presents statistical data describing the process of migration waves in 2015, which are interlaced with actual data obtained directly from selected immigrants. The first reference to the applicant for international protection in Germany were foreigners from Iraq and Ethiopia, who, a half a year later, were joined by nationals from Syria. The research at the site showed the real functioning of migration and asylum system. 30 % of all asylum applicants from across the EU headed to Germany. The priority of this country was particularly its asylum policy. The Czech Republic, as a transit country with a share of less than 1% of applicants, focused on the control of illegal migration. This position was one of the factors that led to the failure of the project Generation 21. In the course of the operation this project resettled 89 refugees from Iraq, more than half of whom then renounced the asylum in order to travel to Germany. It is the secondary movement of immigrants that is threatening the existence of the Schengen area and points out the unsatisfactory effectiveness of the mechanisms proposed by the EU.

SAMCOVÁ, Pavlína
Human life is affected by illness and the loss of self-sufficiency. The aim of social work in hospitals is to help clients and their families come to terms with the problems associated with illness and to restrict and eliminate these problems. The theoretical part of the paper looks at health and illness, the needs people in hospital have, the changes that come about in the course of illness and illnesses as social events. I also look at social work in hospitals, the work of health/social workers and the theories and methods that are applied to social work in hospitals. The aim of the paper is to map out the influence of social work in hospitals on the health of patients. The main research question set out was, in what way does social work in hospitals influence the health of patients? In order to answer this question, I asked the following sub-questions: 1. What influence does social work in hospitals have on the physical side of the health of patients/clients? 2. What influence does social work in hospitals have on the mental side of the health of patients/clients? 3. What influence does social work in hospitals have on the social situation of patients/clients? 4. What methods or techniques of social work are used in social work at hospitals? The strategy of qualitative research was used to achieve the objectives set out. Questioning in the form of a semi-structured interview was the method chosen for obtaining information and questioning was supplemented by the method of monitoring. Interviews were conducted with 6 health/social workers and 15 clients/patients of such health/social workers. This paper could contribute towards an improvement in the social work services provided in hospitals and may also serve to broaden the knowledge level of the general and expert public.

Nurse´s Contribution to Trophotherapy of Preterm Newborns in Intensive Care.
KRČMOVÁ, Pavla
The thesis is focused on nutrition of a preterm infant at an intensive care unit from the point of view of nursing activities. A nurse is faced to problems resulting from prematurity state like insufficient sucking, poor coordination of sucking and swallowing, she enters into interaction with parents who are afraid of the life and subsequently of the future of their beloved child. Natural nutrition, preferably with breast milk is irreplaceable in spite of the high development of initial formulas. This is why the mother of the child, who is vital for the newborn?s nutrition, has to be invited into the team. A hundred per cent enteral nutrition is not always possible, parenteral method has to be applied as well. Provision, evaluation and optimization of infant?s nutrition are results of activities of the whole team, i.e. of a nurse as well. The theoretical part of the thesis contains the findings of trophotherapy of a preterm newborn. It deals with parenteral as well as enteral alimentation, its composition and administration techniques. The empiric part lists and evaluates the research results that led to replies to research questions related to nurse?s contribution to trophotherapy of a preterm newborn, to the influence of permanent nasogastric tube on breathing and mucus congestion of the nose as well as to the awareness of nutrition problems among mothers of preterm infants. Measures resulting from the research results and recommendation for further examination are proposed at the end of the thesis. A brochure Preterm Baby Nutrition designed for distribution among mothers at neonatology and perinatology departments and Recommendations for Gastric Tube Introduction belong to the outputs. We should mention that the latter is based on procedures already presented. It was extended by recommendation of the place of introduction with regard to further intention of enteral nutrition administration.
