Translation methods in progress with the example of Die Weise von Liebe und Tod des Cornets Christoph Rilke

The thesis addresses the issue of nine Czech translations of R. M. Rilke's once extremely famous poem "Die Weise von Liebe und Tod des Cornets Christoph Rilke". The translations looked into were created over the course of ninety years, three of them belong to the pre-WWII era, six of them are post-war accomplishments. The method used is descriptive analysis and contextualization of individual translations, leading to a comparative analysis of the translations and enabling insights into the development of translation methods. The motivations of the translators are also dealt with, helping to answer the question why so many translations of "Cornet" have appeared in Czech so far. The issue of very different status of "Cornet" in its culture of origin and the receiving culture is also looked into. The primary objective of the work, however, is to describe a change in translation methods correlating with the changing time and social situation. Analysis of the Success Rate of Mergers and Aquisitions in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with the analysis of the recruitment process in a company, specialized in IT. The theoretical part deals in detail with each step of the recruitment process, and the practical part compares them. There are descriptions of the individual steps of the process in IT companies, and suggestions on how to increase the effectiveness of the recruitment. It also introduces an entirely new strategy for using social networks like LinkedIn. HR staff and employees throughout the company are familiar with this new strategy thanks to a manual and a company profile in this network. The HR department establishes the steps of the recruitment of new staff. The aim is to determine whether the proposed method is effective for the company and if it can continue to be applied.

Management of production populations of forest tree species utilizing methods of mathematical programing

Breeding of forest tree species is a great opportunity for the entire forestry sector to succeed in the present modern World. Genetically improved forest trees have much better growing quality and they can sustain higher stress and unfavorable climatic conditions.
Efficient algorithms are necessary for optimizing and establishing seed orchards. These should optimally select clones as parents in future seed orchards. In the present thesis, we developed model, based on mathematical programming methods, which creates mix of clones with the maximum breeding value and constraints on genetic diversity.

Product Design by Running Lean method

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the issue of designing and placing software products on the market by Running Lean method and on this basis, to develop a methodology for a particular company forplacing their products on the market. In the introduction, there is introduced the studied company and specified the structure of this thesis. In the theoretical part, there are presented the specifics of marketing software products and methods that are used to placing them on the market. The practical part describes the designed methodology of placing the product on the market in the studied company. In the conclusion, there is provided a preview on the success of this product's design and there are also described possible changes and improvements for the future.
