The renewal of the forgotten and forming of the new lexis in the contemporary Ukrainian language (using examples of professions and positions).

The bachelor thesis is devoted to the issue of re-adaptation of authentic Ukrainian words to contemporary language. The issue of lexical changes is current in all post-Soviet countries, including Ukraine. The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the lexemes found in the dictionary "Mova ne kalka", which according to the authors should replace the existing lexemes. For the purpose of the work it was necessary to define a narrower group of words, these are words that denote professions and are recorded in the official Ukrainian List of Professions. Each lexis offered is subject to analysis in 3 levels: semantic, word-forming and stylistic. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
