Analysis of international map portals Abstract The aim of this thesis is to analyse chosen foreign map portals and compare them with Czech ones. The selection of states realizing map portals is mixed. There are states with tradition in cartography, advanced technology level, growing economics etc. At first there are explained methodology, criterions of analysis and defined final score. Then reader can find process of analysis and results of this process, there is rating of map portals too. In the end hypothesis are resolved and results are summarized. Graphic objects like a charts, graphs and pictures are inserted. Keywords: map server, map portal, web, internet, foreign map portals
