The contemporary Czech art on the domestic and the global art market

The goal of this thesis is to analyse trends of the contemporary Czech art on the domestic market and possibilities of the contemporary Czech artists to succeed on the international art market. The firts part of the thesis describes specific forms of contemporary art and their position on the art market. The main factors influencing contemporary art prices are mentioned. The next chapter is concentrated on trends of contemporary art in comparison with the other segments of the art market. The third chapter is focused on development of the contemporary art on the domestic market. It analyses the present situation on the Czech art market and explores the potential of the contemporary Czech art. The last part of the thesis evaluates a success rate of the contemporary Czech art on the global art market.

Position of Asian developing countries in international trade

Developing countries, and especially Asian are playing an increasingly larger role in international trade. The aim of this thesis is to examine the current status of Asian developing countries in world trade, to analyse the impact of involvement in international trade on their economy in the period since the eighties to today. The work will focus in detail on three selected countries: China, India and Vietnam. In order to meet the objectives of the work mainly used methods are analysis, comparison and induction. Research has been carried to the conclusion that the share of developing countries in international trade Asia continues steadily to grow, but is influenced by developments in the major economies and the main driving force is still China. Shares of other Asian developing countries on the world market are still relatively small. The fact is that international trade has helped these economies to reach positive developments. The results of this study allow readers to have a deeper look into the issue of Asian developing countries in international trade.

Regulation of accounting and taxes in the Republic of Mauritius

The introductory part of the bachelor thesis briefly deals with the legal forms of business in the Republic of Mauritius. The main objective of this work is based on the characterization of accounting regulation in the Republic of Mauritius and bring the national form of accounting regulation. The thesis describes the individual parts of Financial Reporting Standards for Small Entities issued by Financial Reporting Council Mauritius. The Financial Reporting Standards for Small Entities are compared with the International Financial Reporting Standard for Small and Medium Sized Entities at the same time. When the standards were compared, significant conformity and differences were highlighted. The final part is devoted to the tax system of the Republic of Mauritius. This section deals mainly with constructional elements of corporate and personal income tax.

Provisions in slovak accounting legislative and IFRS

The graduation theses points out the importance of provisions for business entities. Provisions, as the basic tool of prudence, contribute to cautious and fair presentation of financial information. The graduation theses mainly focuses on development in Slovak accounting legislative in this field. After a few years of development, the current state of Slovak legislative concerning provisions is very similar to the way in which International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) deal with them. At the end of the theses, there is an example of a Slovak joint stock company that originally presented financial statements according to Slovak accounting legislative and later on, chose to present them according to IFRS solely.

The analysis of the accounting policy of the selected company

This bachelor thesis is focused on the accounting policy of the company Johnson&Johnson, Ltd. The main purpose of this thesis is to describe the fundamental differences in the accounting and financial reporting between Czech accounting standards and International Financial Reporting Standards. Above all, this thesis deals with the issue of reporting provisions, fixed assets and their depreciation, leasing and related party transactions. These topics are addressed later in the final chapter of the thesis based upon the financial statements of the Johnson&Johnson, Ltd. company.

Intercultural management in the times of globalization

The purpose ofthis thesis titled "Intercultural Management in the Times of Globalization" is to conduct an analysis of the intercultural management fundamentals and work specifics of a global manager who is operating on an international level. In particular, I have focused on the unique success of the Renault-Nissan Alliance in the automotive industry. The outcome of this thesis should provide a manual for global managers that are operating internationally. The theoretical framework is represented by an analysis of the causes and fundamentals of the interculturalization of today's world. The practical part consists of two main sections. The first part is focusing on identifying the factors that attribute to the success or failure of a strategic cooperation of two different entities in the automotive industry. The second part is an in-depth analysis of the integration process of the Renault-Nissan Alliance. This thesis outlines the situation on the global automobile market in terms of creation of various forms of strategic cooperations. It further proves the importance of an intercultural management during the creation of such partnerships.

the impact of the global economic crisis on international trade of the Czech republic

This thesis addresses the effects of the global economic crisis on the situation in the international trade of the Czech Republic. I focused on exploring the causes of the crisis and its impact on international trade. The chosen problem I solved by using index methods, deduction, induction, and abstraction. Carried out by the research I've found specific effects on the territorial and commodity structure of Czech trade. The main findings are the impact of the crisis on the volume and structure of trade of the Czech Republic from the territorial point of view and according to the classification of SITC.

Tato práce se zabývá poskytováním práv na zachování menšinového jazyka a kultury imigrantským menšinám. Práce se zvláště soustředí na "lingvistická práva", tedy na veřejné vzdělání v menšinovém jazyce a přístup menšiny k většinovému jazyku, právo na vícejazyčné názvy a označení, právo na financování aktivit, které zviditelňují menšinovou kulturu, a právo na použití menšinového jazyka při jednání s úřady. Práce shrnuje úpravu lingvistických práv v mezinárodněprávních dokumentech. Budou popsány závazky, které pro státy vyplývají z následujících dokumentů: Mezinárodní pakt o občanských a politických právech (1966), Deklarace OSN o právech osob náležejících k národnostním, etnickým, náboženským a jazykovým menšinám (1992), Všeobecná deklarace lingvistických práv (1996), Všeobecná deklarace kulturní diversity (2001), Mezinárodní úmluvu o ochraně práv všech migrujících pracovníků a jejich rodinných příslušníků (1990), Římská smlouva (1957), Evropská úmluva o lidských právech (1950), Evropská charta regionálních či menšinových jazyků (1992), Podobně Rámcová úmluva o ochraně národnostních menšin (1995), Haagská doporučení vztahující se k právům národnostních menšin na vzdělání (1996) a Doporučení z Oslo vztahující se k lingvistickým právům národnostních menšin (1998). The importance of the German economy in the global economy

The aim of this work is to characterize the importance of the German economy in the global economy on the basis of SWOT analysis. The work is composed as an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses, forthcoming opportunities and threats. The focus is on the role of interconnectedness of country and the state of its economy. The first chapter is about the economic situation in Germany, the second chapter is devoted to position in international trade. The third, and final chapter, I deal with political consequences.
