State Support of Domiciliary Services
Veverková, Lenka ; Průša, Ladislav (advisor) ; Pauerová, Hana (referee)
The title of my diploma paper is State Support of Domiciliary Services for the Elderly, in which I talk about domiciliary services as the main instrument for social inclusion In my diploma work, I focus on the main features that influence the provision of domiciliary social services for the elderly, in the light of current reforms, related, previously implemented reforms and the introduction of social services legislation from 2006,in valid wording. In my analysis of these elements, I evaluate the support of the state to analyse the accessibility and development of domiciliary social services in the region as an instrument for social inclusion.I focus on the competence and responsibilities of the individual providers, as the state, district, community and non-governmental, non-profit organisations in the field of social services. An important element in securing high quality services is their accessibility and therefore I concern myself with the circumstances and evaluation of the region's facilities.I further describe basic financial resources of the financial structure of social services, giving the specific example of the financial structure of social service providers in Prague 2's district council area. In the practical part of my work, I focus closely on an assessment of domiciliary social services...

The Influence of Nanoparticles on The Properties of Hard Polyurethane Foams
Eliáš, Filip ; Kotlík, Josef (referee) ; Petrůj, Jaroslav (advisor)
The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on general principles of polyurethane chemistry. Nanotechnologies are also discussed, in particular using nanoparticles in the production of polyurethane foams. There are also mentioned selected preparation methods of silver and titanium dioxide nanoparticles. The experimental part describes mainly a novel method for synthesis of the concentrated solution of titanium dioxide nanoparticles in glycerol and their analysis by using confocal microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, dynamic light scattering and UV-VIS spectroscopy. Finally, there are suggested particular steps for further investigation of prepared nanoparticles for the production of rigid polyurethane foams, and also for other applications.

Using of Semantic Differential for Euducation Assessment at Basic School
ŠERÝ, Michal
One of the methods for collecting data in psychology is a method of semantic differential. The using of semantic differential is very large, this method is widely used in personality research, clinical psychology, market psychology and marketing. In recent years, this method has begun to apply to the area of educational research, above all educational psychology. A basic problem with wide using is the huge volume of data obtained by this method. Some of the options of setting up of a questionnaire with light to the selection of bipolar adjectives are listed in the thesis. The options represent the evaluation dimension, the dimension of activity and potency in terms of both representativeness and relevance. A set of tools for automatized generation of various combinations of questionnaire groups was created. A technical support of data collection, their evaluation and visualization using semantic differential method was also created. These methods will be used in realization of the project of introducing teaching of mathematic in English language at primary schools. The primary goal of this level of analysis is to judge to what extent can two terms (or more terms), generally regarded as semantically similar or different.

Robust Approach for Environmental and Health Practice: Novel Paradigm for Data Treatment and Analysis
Wagner, Zdeněk ; Ocelka, T. ; Pavliska, L.
Knowledge of concentration of atmospheric aerosol particles may provide an important information in applications concerning human health. Aerosol studies reach into several fields of science. In the past decades it was shown that enhanced concentration of atmospheric aerosol lead to increased mortality on cardiopulmonary diseases and lung cancer. This work presents a robust method of estimation of particle size distribution based on mathematical gnostics. The algorithm may either be used as a manual tool for analyzing a small number of particle size distributions ex post or as a routine implemented in automatic monitoring devices for near real time processing of measured data and immediate online display on a web site. The method has sucessfully been implemented for near real time analysis of data measured by a scanning mobility particle sizer conformant to recommendations defined in the framework of the EUSAAR project.

Analysis of the global temperature growth
Střeštík, Jaroslav
Global air temperature increased during the last 150 years approximately by 0.8°C. This increase can be approximated by a polynomial of third order. Nearly the same is valid for the CO2 and other greenhouse gases concentration in the atmosphere. The increase of global temperature is supplemented by considerable fluctuations, where periods with a quicker increase and periods with a slow increase or stagnation can be found. Subtracting the long-term trend from the observed temperature course the sinusoidal variation appears more apparent. Spectral analysis discovers a dominant sine wave with the period of 62 years with maxima in 1878, 1940, and 2002, supplemented by a subsidiary wave with the period of 20.7 years. Combination of these waves with above mentioned polynomial a curve is obtained, which sufficiently well fits into the observed course of global temperature during the whole period 1850-2008.

The issue of Turkey entering into the European union
Marková, Kateřina ; Vondrušková, Barbora (advisor) ; Horák, Jiří (referee)
This bachelor thesis is divided into three parts. The first one is devoted to the adjusting of the integrational process into the EU. The history of the EU, Copenhagen criteria necessary for entering of a country into the EU and the current candidate countries are presented to the reader in more details. In the second part, Turkey is characterised in the light of integration according to its geographical-political and social-economic aspect. The third chapter deals with Turkish association tendencies in the light of the EU -- it is eximened as a candidate country. The attitudes of the other EU-members are mentioned, also at the end SWOT-analysis is created. The attitude of the EU-members are also mentioned at the end of this chapter and SWOT analysis completes the whole research.

The first world war in the italian literature
NOVÁ, Miroslava
The main subject of this thesis is to give a picture of the First World War in the Italian literature by comparing two Italian works of art which describe the experience from the First World War. The first chapter briefly introduces both authors and their literary activities. Then the First World War and its results are described. A separate chapter deals with the situation in Italy, which is used to create the contemporary atmosphere and to understand the meaning of the analysed works of art. The other chapters focus on the analysis of the novels Un anno sull?Altipiano by Emilio Lussu and Vent?anni by Corrado Alvaro. These two novels are analytically compared and the main motives and the way how the author by narrating expresses his opinion about the war are emphasized.

Isolation and characterisation of light harvesting complexes from bacteria of the genus Gemmatimonas
DACHEV, Marko
Photosynthetic bacteria are highly abundant. The isolation and characterization of the light-harvesting complex from the Gemmatimonas phototrophica AP64T which belongs to the seventh phylum of the evolutionary important (bacterio)chlorophyll-containing bacteria are reported here. The purification of the complex was achieved by gel-filtration and electrophoresis. HPLC was used for identification of the pigments. The protein subunits were further identified by MS analysis.

Analyzing of measured solar spectrum
Štěpánek, Jakub ; Křivík, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the definition of solar lights for solar purposes and solar simulators. These concepts are presented and described in detail. The theoretical part is described below chapter explaining the possibilities of using solar energy phototherapy. The next section follows the issue of standards and their podnorem AM, describes in detail the direct and diffuse light component. In connection continues with IEC 60904, IEC 60904-3 and IEC 60904-9, differences in purpose and use. The thesis describes the problems of the methods of analysis of the solar spectrum as defined in IEC 60904-9. In the penultimate chapter we discuss all light sources, their properties and uses. They navyzují selected light sources used in this work, as well as descriptions and color filters designed for measurement and subsequent evaluation in the practical part. The last chapter analyzes used measuring instruments, their advantages and disadvantages. In the practical part, we describe a method for measuring real-world light spectra, determining compliance with these spectra spectra AM 1.5 and the necessity to generate data from IEC 60904-3. Another part allows measured data to see in an understandable form and must include an assessment and assignment of the data set into classes according to AM 1.5.
