Analysis of a Selected Business Firm and Future Development Suggestion
KVASNICA, Petr
The Diploma thesis called ?Analysis of a Selected Business Firm and Future Development Suggestion? deals with the theory and practice of business management strategy. The theoretical part defines general procedure of business strategy and management, which is the basis for strategic plan creation. The practical part describes an actual well-established medium enterprise, presents a complex analysis of external environment, or its surroundings, and internal environment, or its internal sources and abilities. A SWOT analysis is realized based on the facts consequent upon the enterprise analysis. Thus we can compare the existing strategy and plans of the enterprise to the suggested solution.

Quality assurance IMRT plans
LOŠKOVÁ, Michaela
We may regard the Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) as a break-through and progress concerning the treatment of oncogenous diseases. In practice, this new method experienced an extensive development as early as at the end of 1990s. At the present time, the IMRT is a medical treatment used in an increasingly frequent manner. It concerns predominantly such oncogenous diseases, the treatment of which based on the above-mentioned method is applicable due to the localization of the disease. The IMRT enables a more effective distribution of a dose in the target volume than in case of the conventional radiotherapy. It is also possible to realize maximum treatment of the surrounding healthy tissues. For the purpose of clinical use of the IMRT, however, it is necessary to verify the correspondence between the dose planned and the dose actually realized in the target volume. From the large quantity of correspondence verification methods available, I decided to select the three following ones to be covered in this paper: - portal dosimetry method - measurement using special phantom - measurement using 2D filed of the Seven29 detectors. The goal of my work was to compare these three methods of verification of the IMRT plans and in addition, to verify the applicability of the 3% tolerance criterion for all the above-mentioned methods of verification. The portal dosimetry method is applicable for verification of fluency; it is fully sufficient and not time-consuming for the purpose of clinical use. The measurement using 2D field provides for sufficiently accurate information on a dose{\crq}s distribution in the modulated field, however, it is more time-consuming and the measuring device is not integrated in the system of the radiation apparatus. Verification using special phantom is considerably time-consuming and it provides for information on a dose{\crq}s distribution in a small quantity of points. The DD=3% criterion I selected is applicable to all three methods with the exception of areas with extensive modulation of the dose and areas on the verge of the field.

Design and Development of the Network of Points of the Detailed Minor Horizontal Control by the Geodetic nad GPS Methods in the Basin of the Jeninsky Stream
HOFMANOVÁ, Lucie
This Graduation Thesis was elaborated on the following topic: ``Design and Development of the Network of Points of the Detailed Minor Horizontal Control (``DMHC{\crq}q) by the Geodetic and GPS Methods in the Basin of the Jeninsky Stream{\crq}q. The goal of the Thesis was to reconnoitre the part of the basin of the Jeninsky Stream, analyze current level of the minor control in this locality, amend current horizontal minor control in the density for detailed large-scale mapping and locate minor control by the geodetic and GPS methods. The given locality was reconnoitred based on the map basis and geodetic data. Afterwards, I carried out monumentation of new points of the DMHC and then their positional determination by the geodetic and GPS methods. The network of 16 points of the DMHC was created, for this Graduation Thesis was used 8 of them. The electronic total station Leica TCR 407 power was used for the determination by the geodetic method and Trimble 4600LS device was used for the GPS method.

Nursing care of the patients with chronic pancreatitis
SKOŘEPOVÁ, Jana
Chronic pancreatitis is a serious disease, which despite the rapid development of diagnostics and treatment is often diagnosed in late stages. The disease cannot actually be cured, but change of lifestyle and adherence to diet regimen can influence not only the disease course and progression, but also occurrence of complications. This thesis deals with the problems of nursing care of patients with chronic pancreatitis, with the level of awareness of the disease and the regimen measures among patients. It also monitors willingness and ability of respondents to accept the change of lifestyle and diet habits. The goal of the thesis is to find out the specifics of nursing care of clients with chronic pancreatitis. Qualitative research methods were applied in the empiric part of the thesis to achieve the goal. The research was performed in clients with chronic pancreatitis visiting the gastroenterology outpatient department of Tábor Hospital and a group of ten respondents at different stages of the disease were subject to the research. Their selection was conditioned by their willingness to participate in the research and to cooperate. A semi-structured interview was conducted with each respondent. Thorough study of these problems and the results of the research led to a brief and clear information brochure for people suffering from chronic pancreatitis as the output of the activities. This manual should serve as a summary and specification of information, which the patient can read at home without fuss after being educated orally. With regard to the achievements of our work we would like to make this work and its results available to the nursing care public as much as possible. We hope that the results of our work will increase interest in this issue among professionals and will address further workers willing to participate in its solution

The development of musicianship in preschool children.
CANDROVÁ, Alena
The thesis aims to focus on the development of musical skills of preschool children through activities in kindergarten. It consists of a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part is dedicated to the issues of development of pre-school child and his musical abilities and skills, develop their capabilities. In the practical part of it was necessary to build a three-month program focused on the development of musical skills and practically to realize it with the children in a nursery school. I worked with a group of six children. On the basis of qualitative research, in which I use the method of observation and examination of musical ability, I came to the conclusion that for all six children occurred after the application program to develop musical skills to the development of musical ear, imagination and memory, rhythmic and tonal sentiment.

The Difference between Planed and Real Measured Dose under the Bolus Made of New Material
KUKAČKOVÁ, Lucie
The first chapter of the theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis outlines radiotherapy in general. Radiotherapy is a clinical treatment using ionising radiation to treat malignant and benign diseases. It is one of the youngest medical disciplines. The development of radiotherapy began in November 1895, when Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen discovered X-rays. Radiotherapy became an independent medical specialty in 1922. The second chapter describes planning in radiotherapy. Irradiation plans for radiotherapy are created on the basis of a planning system. ECLIPSE planning system is used in the oncology department in České Budějovice Hospital. Phantoms are the theme of the third chapter. Phantoms are materials whose radiation absorption corresponds to human tissue. Water is a basic universal phantom material. In addition to water, also other materials are used, such as polystyrene, plexiglass, paraffin, PMMA etc. The last, fourth chapter of the theoretical part, deals with boluses. Boluses are tissue-equivalent materials that are put on the patient's skin during irradiation when it is needed to increase the surface dose and at the same decrease the depth dose. Moreover, bolus is used to compensate the missing tissue. Bolus is most often used to diagnose patients after mastectomy due to breast cancer. The most important characteristic of boluses is their ability to absorb radiation. In the oncology department in České Budějovice Hospital, bolus from dental wax Ceradent had been used before. A bolus made from this material was hard and uneasy to shape. That is why it did not fit tightly to the chest wall of the patient. For this reason a new line of boluses was obtained for the oncology department, from gel material supplied by CIVCO company with dimensions 30 x 30 cm and thickness 0.3 cm, 0.5 cm and 1 cm, in "skin" and "skinless" version. These new boluses stick easily to the patient's skin and copy the shape of the body. The first objective of my bachelor's thesis was to compare the doses planned and measured under the bolus from the new material. This objective is elaborated in the practical part of the bachelor's thesis in chapter presenting the results. Another objective was to elaborate the principles for the use of bolus. These principles are described in the theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis in chapter describing the use of bolus in radiotherapy. The following hypothesis was suggested in the thesis: "It can be assumed that the generated bolus in the planning system corresponds to the scanned bolus on the CT with patient and that there is a difference between the planned dose and measured one." To confirm or refute the working hypothesis, measuring was executed in the oncology department in České Budějovice Hospital. Data about individual doses were collected boluses generated in the Eclipse planning system of different width (0.3 cm, 0.5 cm, 1 cm) on phantoms. Three types of phantoms from PMMA were used for the purposes of this measuring. First, the measuring was executed on phantom in the shape of the chest wall of a patient after breast ablation. Then, the tabular phantom and universal IMRT verification phantoms were used. The measurement was executed on the Clinac 2100 C/D linear accelerator, later on the new TrueBeam 2.5. linear accelerator. All these doses were measured by ionisation chamber from PTW company with volume of 0.125cm3. The obtained data were processed in tables and deviations of individual doses were calculated. Based on this measurement it was found out that the deviations of all doses are less than 3%. And therefore also the hypothesis of the thesis was confirmed. There really is a difference between individual doses, but not so significant to affect the size of dose during the planning. As for the practical outcome, generated boluses will be used as standard in the oncology department in České Budějovice Hospital.

The study of mitochondrial biogenesis during fetal development
Hůlková, Martina
Postnatal adaptation of neonate to extrauterine life is among others dependent on effective mitochondrial biogenesis during fetal development. Therefore the study of mitochondrial biogenesis on molecular and biochemical level may improve the care of very premature neonates, especially critically ill premature neonates. This thesis has been worked out in The laboratory for study of mitochondrial disorders (Department of Pediatrics, 1st faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague). The thesis is based on molecular genetic analyses, which are focus on characterization of expression of gene involved in mitochondrial biogenesis including gene of oxidative phosphorylation system (OXPHOS) and on changes in mtDNA content during human fetal development. The results than enable : Efective analysis of the mRNA expression level by quantitative real- time PCR method in fetal tissues. Analysis of the changes in the mtDNA content in different fetal tissues To understand and to explain the tissue-specific differences in expression of the OXPHOS genes and of the genes involved in mtDNA transcription and in regulation of mtDNA content during second trimester of gestation.

Introduction to the waterlogged spruce forest habitat as part of Šumava ecosystems - materials for environmental education
HRIČOVSKÁ, Veronika
Šumava is one of the oldest mountain in the Czech Republic, it is a nature phenomenon with a little affected landscape, fauna and flora. Probably the most noteworthy biotopes are the extensive forests and wetlands. Something between these two biotopes are waterlogged and peaty spruce forests mostly unknown habitats by wide public. This bachelor thesis is focused on the introduction of these overlooked habitats in the scale of Šumava National Park with reference to its importance in enhancing biodiversity and the retention capacity of water in the ecosystems. They were taking into account all the factors affecting landscape and therefore its habitats. For example climate, altitude, geological evolution and historical and recent human activities. The educational program is developed with regard to the principles of continual learning. Concurrently an informative brochure for general public was developed. These materials will be used for environmental education centers of Šumava National Park and other environmental organizations in the region.
