Majerová, Veronika ; Reifová, Radka (advisor) ; Kotlík, Petr (referee)
Acrocephalus warblers have gone through the adaptive radiation during last severalmillion years, which gave rise to thirty one species occupying mainly Eurasia,Africa and Australia. The majority of species are morphologically very similar, however, they differ in ecological requirements, migration strategy, and song.Interspecific hybridization seems to be quite common among Acrocephaluswarblers, not only between sister species, but also between more distantly relatedtaxa. The main goal of this study was to determine whether this hybridization leadsto gene flow between species and which factors affect the rate of interspecific geneflow. For this purpose we conducted population-genetic analysis in three Europeanspecies of the Acrocephalus warblers of the subgenus Notiocichla: reed warbler (A.scirpaceus), marsh warbler (A. palustris), and blyth's reed warbler (A. dumetorum). Our results based on the analysis of sequence data from eight nuclear loci indicate, that gene flow between the studied species occurs, but only in one direction. Thegene flow is higher between genetically more related species than betweenecologically more similar species. We also estimated that the reed warbler and themarsh warbler diverged approximately 1,1 million years ago. The blyth's warblerand ancestor of the reed and marsh warbler...

Salivar, Lukáš ; Háva, Petr (advisor) ; Drhová, Zuzana (referee)
The Diploma thesis deals with the Czech energy policy in relation to the local ecological limits of the brown coal mining in Northern Bohemia. The local ecological limits are based on the government statement in 1991 and its purpose is to protect environment in this area. Nowadays we are the witnesses of the discussion about the abolition of these limits, mainly because of the shrinking resources of the brown coal. The aim of this thesis is to analyze how the Czech energy policy deals with the public interest in relation to the local ecological limits. The thesis focuses not only on the public interest but also on the actors and the distribution of the power among these actors and on the future direction of the Czech energy policy mainly in relation to the sustainable development. The thesis is based on the theoretical knowledge of the business-state relationship and of the sustainable development. The thesis shows that the public interest is not clearly defined in the Czech energy policy, although it is used very often. The conceptualization of the public interest can be derived from the acting and statements of the relevant actors. According to the relevant actors the public interest is the exploitation of these resources, which would lead to the conservation of the current structure of the energy...

The relationship between direct regulation of an international sales contract and that under the conflict of laws rules (Master's degree thesis) Abstract The purpose of my thesis is to analyse the relation between the regulation based on the CISG and the regulations based on the conflict of laws rules. The reason for my research is the important role that the unified CISG regulation plays in the international commerce and the complicated legal issues connected with its sphere of application in particular at the moment, when the nature of conflict of laws rules changes throughout Europe. Czech sources are used especially when dealing with theoretical and general question. Occasionally some Czech court decisions are included. The thesis is composed of three chapters, proceeding from the general issues to the specific ones. Chapter One deals with the most general questions of relation between CISG and conflict of laws rules. The chapter is subdivided into four parts. An important source for the interpretation of EU laws are judgements of the Court of Justice of the European Union. These judgments concerning Natura 2000 can be divided into two circles of problems. The first circle of problems is the misconduct in the creation of the protected area within the Natura 2000 and the second is the misconduct in the...
