American companies in today´s world economy

The aim of this thesis is to identify the position of US companies in the world economy. The first chapter describes the origin and the history of the companies, the current trends of foreign direct investment and an analysis of a number of employees and US companies. The second part contains an overview of US company ExxonMobil and shows its position based on specific factors(foreign direct investment, employment within the company, the outcome of its strategic divisions, dedication to safety and corporate social responsibility. The factors described above are analysed based on the available statistical data.

Employment of foreigners in the Czech republic

The aim of this thesis is to provide an overview of foreigners employment in the Czech republic in a broader context and to describe retrospectively the main demographics characteristics. The first part deals with the definition of basic concept related to employment of foreigners in the Czech republic, legislation and its amendments and last but not least deals with the relations between economic development and employment of foreigners on the Czech labour market. Mentioned are also problems with data sources and distortions in the statistics. The next part deals with the demographic analysis of foreigners in the Czech Republic, their employment and establish the link with economic development. More attention is paid to the five most common citizenship of foreigners in the Czech Republic. In this work, emphasis is placed on linking analysis of employment in terms of demographics with economic development, political and legislative processes and the basic characteristics of foreigners in the Czech Republic.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is based on available and acquired data to bring issues concerning foreigners in the Czech Republic. Analysis of the number of foreigners, the number of residence permits and their integration into Czech society are very important factors in the knowledge that immigration is becoming the only option while maintaining the reproduction of population and the consequent sustainability of economic activity. A very important part is to get an overview of the possibilities of foreigners and their subsequent opportunities in the labour market. The most important objective of this work is to provide a comprehensive view of the issue of foreigners in the Czech Republic, in terms of integration, family behaviour and their employment. Furthermore, this work investigates the impact, although positive or negative, foreigners on the Czech economy.

Economical Impact of Regional Planning in the selected Region

The thesis aims to draft procedures for regional development. The goal is going to define standardized processes, which aim to take advantage of the activities of foreign investors in the Central Bohemia Region, these investment activities positively getting on the development of employment rate. The methodology includes the application of regression analysis in which is the explanatory variables, the volume of foreign direct investment (independent variable) and the dependent variable is the emplyment people who have permanent home in the Central Bohemia Region. To maintain the investment activity is necessary to create the local authorities suitable conditions for investors through guaranteed prices of commercial area. The assumption is that investor interest will be remain only in the event, that they gonna to be offered a guaranteed price of commercial area. The task for the public administration is in the interest of investors and the public interest. The result of regression analysis is, used to determine the optimal scope of commercial area offer. Therefore, to design solutions also falls adjustment and correction of territorial development in the Central Bohemia Region.

Foreign direct investments and its Impact on Unemployment – Case Study of Libya

Developing countries need to develop their economies and one of the most important issues related to this development is capital accumulation. Capital accumulation is no longer an easy task even for developed countries. Developing Countries have many difficulties with income generation and employment creation. There are two ways how to solve such crucial issues, even borrow finance which is expensive way or attract foreign direct investments. The new Libyan government declared its intention to develop the economy and involve it in the international economy in order to reach entire economic development. This thesis examines and explores the Libyan doing business conditions in relation to foreign direct investments in all economic sectors. The most important task of this thesis is to quantify the inflow of foreign direct investments and its impact on employment in Libya, their impact on economic growth and the impact of foreign direct investments on exports volumes. The thesis will attempt to evaluate the benefits of foreign direct investments to Libyan economy. The research examines whether they bring benefits such as the transfer of know-how, the transfer of new technologies, the introduction of new procedures and the improvement of labor force. In addition the research attempts to evaluate whether Libyan business environment is appropriate to attract foreign direct investments. The thesis conclusions will contain recommendations regarding the implemented policies and procedures which can be beneficial in improving the business environment which enables the attraction of additional foreign direct investments. The main aim of this thesis is to examine the impact of foreign direct investments on employment in Libya and to fulfill this aim there is a need to identify the main determinants that determine the evolution of employment and jobs creation in Libyan economy. Based on these calculations and conclusions of the research, certain economic measures and recommendations will be suggested. The contribution of the dissertation should therefore be based on econometric techniques that we will be able to discover the scope and potential opportunities for economic and employment policies in Libya. The study also revealed that there are many challenges facing policy makers in order to reform the business environment to make it more attractive for foreign direct investments.

DEVELOPMENT OF LABOUR MIGRATION INTO THE CZECH REPUBLIC IN THE YEARS 2003 - 2013

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of labor migration into the Czech Republic in the years 2003 -- 2013 and verifies the hypothesis that the amount of the labor immigrants into the Czech Republic is increasing. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts related to migration, and since labor migration has the biggest impact on the labor market, it must also deals with the theory of the labor market For a deeper understanding of immigration there are explained economic theories, which deal with this issue. The legislative measures of the host country is an important factor for immigration, and therefore this topic devoted an entire chapter. The biggest added value of this work brings the fifth chapter, which deals with foreigners on the Czech labor market. The hypothesis was confirmed only partly because the number of immigrants was growing only until 2008. After that began the economic recession and many foreigners left the country, which was also caused by changes in legislation. However, economic growth is again expected influx of immigrants, and also due to the fact that the Czech government supports by its projects legal employment of foreigners in our country.

Investment and employment in the Czech Republic

This Bachelor Thesis is focused on the issue of foreign direct investments (FDI) and their impact and importance for employment in the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is evaluation of Inward Flows and Outward Flows of investments, investment incentives and the development of employment in the Czech Republic for the period from 1993 to 2012. The detailed analysis of these categories of the year 2013 involves findings regarding the impact of FDI to employment in the CR and Germany based on one-equation econometric model. It is split into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is based on professional publications and examination of specialized sources. It serves as a theoretical basis and specification of given issue. The practical part involves two main topics, description and analysis of key categories. The descriptive part involves historical development of foreign investments, investment incentives and employment. The second one examines relation between FDI and employment in the CR and Germany byone-equation econometric model. To clarify the key facts, tables and charts are used. The conclusion involves summary of evolution of FDI, employment in the CR and Germany and possible consequences and recommendations, that are based on findings and comparisons resulted from one-equation econometric model usage.
