Converting of juvenile zander (Sander lucioperca) to artificial diet (preliminary results)
Baránek, V. ; Mareš, J. ; Prokeš, Miroslav ; Jirásek, J. ; Spurný, P.
Weaning success of pond-reared zander (Zander lucioperca) fry was evaluated using three different converting methods: direct converting to dry feed (Bio-Optimal Start 0.5-0.8 mm) – variant A, three– day application of semi-moist feeding mixture on the base of fish – variant B and three-day application of semi-moist mixture + three-day co-feeding of semi-moist mixture and dry feed. These methods were evaluated regarding specific growth rate (SGR), Fulton´s factor of weight condition (FWC), survival and cannibalism. The average onset total length of fish was 35.22 ± 2.15 mm and the average individual weight was 0.31 ± 0.05 g. There were 600 individuals in each circular tank. The initial stock density was 0.62 g.l-1 (2 fish.l-1). The water temperature during this experiment fluctuated in intervals 22 – 24oC. Fish survival during a 14-day period of rearing ranged from 34.33% [C] to 50.33% [A]. Variant A and B were achieved better weaning performance than variant C regarding all parameters.

Length-weight parameters in large individuals of dace (Leuciscus leuciscus), chub (L. cephalus) and ide (L. idus) captured in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic
Blahák, Pavel ; Prokeš, Miroslav
Dace, chub and ide are autochthonic fish species of the Czech and Slovak republics. They are significant in term of sports fishery. Ide is actually protected (VU) species. In the text of the contribution are mentioned values of length-weight relationship (TL:w) and factor of weight condition (FWC) in large individuals. Relatively high weight variability and less slope of length-weight relationship were finded. Text is supplemented with survey of largest registered individuals of mentioned species.

Occurrence and characteristics of ide (Leuciscus idus Linnaeus, 1758) catches in drainage area of the Morava River
Prokeš, Miroslav ; Baruš, Vlastimil ; Peňáz, Milan
The ide, Leuciscus idus belongs to autochthonous, less numerous and endangered (vulnerable) fish species of the Czech Republic. In 2004, the fishing on ide was conducted on 51 non-salmonid (NS) fishing-grounds of the Moravian Anglers Union (MAU) on water area of 4622.4 ha. In total, 432 ides (= 0.31 ind.ha-1; 0.25 % of all captured fish) and 332 kg of ide biomass (= 0.23 kg.ha-1, = 0.10 % of total mass of captured fish) were captured in 2004. Mean individual mass of ide was 0.78 kg. In the period 1990-2004, 0.11 ind.ha-1 (= 0.067 % of all captured fish) and 0.075 kg.ha-1 (= 0.035 % of total mass of captured fish) in the NS fish-grounds of MAU were captured yearly. During 1953-1978, 1.67 ind.ha-1 and 1.41 kg.ha-1 of the ide were captured yearly in the riverine fishing-ground Dyje 7. General trend of catches is decreasing. Legislative species protection, artificial reproduction and restocking of fish fry and 1+ juveniles were realized.

Invasive fish species in the Czech Republic
Lusk, Stanislav ; Lusková, Věra
In the Czech Republic, the following fish species are evaluated as invasive: Carassius auratus, a species showing a significantly negative influence on the occurrence of native species Carassius carassius and Tinca tinca in natural habitats. Certain manifestations and properties (such as the invasive way of dispersal, numerous populations, great ecological tolerance etc.) typical of invasive species can also be seen in Pseudorasbora parva, Ameiurus nebulosus, and Proterorhinus marmoratus. In some of its manifestations, even Cteropharyngodon idella can affect biodiversity in a negative way. One cannot exclude the future invasion or introduction of any alien species evaluated as invasive, particularly those of the genus Neogobius that occur in the Slovakian part of the Danube, and Perccottus glenii that has already invaded the Tisza River drainage area and the lower part of the Danube.

Strategy of an Enterprise
Halounová, Nikol ; Kovář, František (advisor) ; Šíšová, Veronika (referee)
This thesis is divided into theoretical-methodological and practical parts. In the theoretical-methodolical part, the types of analyses of the internal and external environments are described according to literature. The practical part deals with a specific company, to which the findings of the theoretical part applied. The aim of the thesis is the strategic analysis and design of the strategy for the company AB Facility, a.s. The strategic analysis includes both the analysis of the external and internal environments. Based on the results of these analyses there will either be a new strategy proposed or an existing strategy confirmed.

Historia S. Joannis Nepomuceni of 1729 and its period translations
Bočková, Alena ; Svatoš, Martin (advisor) ; Juríková, Erika (referee) ; Hojda, Zdeněk (referee)
Grounded by studie s of early modem Czech and Latin literature, this dissertation examines the work of a Jesuit historian Maximilianus Wietrowsky Historia S. Joannis Nepomuceni (1729) and its Czech translation Zpráva historická o životě sv. Jana Nepomuckého [Historical Report on the Life oj Saint John ojNepomuk] (1730). Apart from analysing both works from literary-historical, linguistic, stylistic and translational points of view, the thesis attempts to depict their wider cultural-historical context and to appreciate the important elements pertaining to the time ofthe works' birth and their content. In the introduction, the thesis is concemed with the question of authorship ofboth the Latin original and its Czech translation. After careful examination of a mostly manuscriptial body of sources, the author succeeded in finding grounds on which it is possible to assume that the author of the Latin version is indeed Maximilianus Wietrowsky (1660-1737), whose authorship has been indicated - without sufficient evidence - in historical literature. The analysis of the Czech translation, on the other hand, seems to disprove Wietrowsky's authorship of the Czech version.

Historical midrash Sefer Josipon (10th century). A critical analysis of the text
Křížová, Magdalena ; Oliverius, Jaroslav (referee) ; Šedinová, Jiřina (advisor)
The thesis aims to summarize our existing knowledge about the time of composition and the litcrary context oť an important historiographical work oť the Middle Ages - the so-called Sefer .Josippon. The thesis is divided into three main parts: the tirst one is concerned with critical comparison oť di ťferent conjectures regarding the origins of the boo k, the second attempts to interpret tbc book ťrom the point oťthe history oťJewish literature ofthat period and the tinal part consists ofa C zech translation oť three short extracts of the boo k, that are chosen to demonstrate the styl i sti cal and artistic techniques of the author and his way oť handl ing with hi s literary sources. The tirst part starts with deťining the problem of the authorship of the book. We have shown that Seťcr .fosippon wasn't originally writtcn as pseudo-epigraphical book, but it was traditionally ascribed to Josephus Flavius (called here ,Joseph ben Gorion''. a mistake caused by misunderstandig oť.Josippon ·s sourccs) only later, while in thc original text oťthis chronicle often quotes Josephus as its primary source oť inťormation. The question oťthe causes and time ofthis ascribement has not been succesťully solved. since already in the I O th century the book i s refered to as .,book oť Joseph ben Corion"". This might possibly...

Problems of Czech Church Slavonic hagiography: Church Slavonic legend of St. Anastasia
Čajka, František ; Vavřínek, Vladimír (advisor) ; Večerka, Kazimír (referee) ; Konzal, Václav (referee)
The dissertation analyses the Church Slavonic Legend oj St Anastasia published for the first time by A. 1. Sobolevskij in 1903. The first editor himself assumed a Czech origin for the legend, because of some signs. The legend has not been systematically analysed since. Because some writers do not consider the Czech milieu as a likely source of some monuments we inc1uded the problems of Church Slavonic hagiography of Czech Origin into the outline of exploration of Church Slavonic monuments of Czech Origin whose part the legend of St Anastasia forms. In the Introduction chapter we give a sketch of the state of exploration of Czech Church Slavonic monuments. One of the basic types of questions connected to these monuments is proving their attribution. It inc1udes a broad array of linguistic, theoreticalliterary as well as extra-linguistic questions. In the subsequent exposition we evaluated the basic existential conditions for Church Slavonic literature in Přemyslid Bohemia. V. Tkadlčík's essay Otázka kontinuity slovanské bohoslužby v přemyslovských Čechách is one of the works presupposing a continuity of Slavonic literary tradition and liturgy in Přemyslid Bohemia. The essay is a part of the supplement to our dissertation and it brings, apart from other discoveries, a uniquely new approach to the question...
