National Repository of Grey Literature: the source for information about hardly available documents

Cílem příspěvku je představit digitální repozitář Národní úložiště šedé literatury (NUŠL) jako zdroj pro vyhledávání informací o obtížně dostupných dokumentech, které spadají do oblasti šedé literatury (tj. nepublikovaná či polopublikovaná literatura) a nebývají součástí běžných fondů knihoven. NUŠL spravuje Národní technická knihovna (NTK).NUŠL se zaměřuje na odbornou šedou literaturu především z oblasti vědy, výzkumu a vzdělávání. Spolupracujícími partnery NUŠL a hlavními zdroji šedé literatury z oblasti vědy a výzkumu jsou Akademie věd České republiky, veřejné výzkumné instituce, vysoké školy, knihovny a muzea. V příspěvku bude detailně představen obsah repozitáře, zajímavé typy dokumentů a především možnosti vyhledávání dokumentů v NUŠL. Centrální rozhraní NUŠL nabízí intuitivní vyhledávání ve sbírkách více institucí najednou a je hlavním přístupovým bodem k hledání šedé literatury v České republice. NUŠL svým zaměřením doplňuje klasické informační zdroje a měl by být součástí rešeršních služeb v českých knihovnách.

Methods of Competitive Intelligence for chemical industrial companies

The content of this thesis is the introduction of Competitive Intelligence and its methods to companies in the chemical industry. The main objective of this work is to create particular solution of Competitive Intelligence for Lovochemie, a.s., i.e. to propose competent employee who will be periodically monitor the selected information resources using Competitive Intelligence software tools. The analyses were used to achieve this objective. At first analysis of the chemical industry was conducted in the Czech Republic and also in the world and analysis of the selected company has been created. Information resources that the company should follow through Competitive Intelligence tools were selected on the basis of this information. The first part deals with the introduction of Competitive Intelligence, intelligence cycle CI, strategic analysis methods and Competitive Intelligence tools for searching and monitoring of information on the Internet. The second part is devoted to the aforementioned analysis. At first the chemical industry is analysed and the world's biggest fertilizers producers are described. This section also introduces the company called Lovochemie, a.s., its competitors, suppliers and customers. In the last part of this thesis, the information resources available to the company and selected Competitive Intelligence tools are described. Finally, the particular solution for Lovochemie is created.

Evaluation of the European Cohesion Policy in Selected Region

The diploma's thesis is aiming to evaluate European policy of social cohesion and its growth options in the selected region. The evaluation is connected to the Elbe cycle route and it is based on analyses.
The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the subject of European policy of social cohesion while defining its legislation and framework of the legislation. It also defines the embodiment of regional politics within legislation of the local government i.e. the Czech Republic.
Analyses of the development of the selected project i.e. the Elbe cycle route and its impact on Hradec Kralove district will be dealt with in the practical part of the thesis. Business results of entities participating on the Elbe cycle route project will be gathered and used in order to evaluate selected indicators. Final assessment will be based on benchmarking. Method of comparison, analyses and syntheses will be used to evaluate gathered data. Applicable data will be gathered by research of related literature. Information will be also provided by the executive entities connected to the project, regional websites focussed on cycle tourism and by the town of Smiřice. Data gathered by the entities that cooperate on supervision of the Elbe cycle route project will be used for the statistic assessment.

The importance of information management company for marketing

The thesis is focused on the issue of the importance of information for marketing management. The aim of this thesis is to identify and analyze information relevant to marketing management in a company. The work is divided into two parts theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic terms and defines the building of marketing information system. The practical part on the knowledge gained from the theoretical part describes in detail the process of the building practical marketing information system in real company, using the specific practical examples. The last part of the thesis presents own research, which confirms correct functioning marketing information system in the company. Conclusion of the work confirms the stated main hypothesis.

The use of unmanned aerial vehicles in agriculture.

Unmanned aerial vehicles has been a fast developing field over the last couple of years Farmers have been trying to take profit from this development and are interested in various options of applications. Demands on the area of agricultural production have been increasing, especially higher effectivity and the economical aspect of production are in focus. Farmers seek for the information about crop statuses and cattle in pursuit of economical rentability and enviromental sustainability. Due to this awareness farmers can take measures to reach economical profit. In the form of literature review the thesis describes construction types, their power options and the suitability for particular application is evaluated. Furthermore, scanning varieties and particular examples of applications are mentioned.

Summary
The subject of this thesis is the issue of employee evaluation in selected company. The theoretical part is focused on the findings of the evaluation of workers and draws from literature. It presents each method of employee evaluation, their advantages and disadvantages, and other determinants of employee evaluation process, such as objectives, evaluation criteria, its progress or errors that may occur. The practical part deals with research in a particular company. The source of information was an interview with a specialist human resources department area manager and a questionnaire survey among employees of company. According to the results of the survey is analyzed the current situation, functionality and satisfaction with the system. At the end of the thesis, after analyzing the information gathered, recommended concrete steps to improve the evaluation system in the company.

Management Accounting as a Source of Information in a Chosen Company

The aim of the thesis was to develop theoretical solutions for managerial accounting issues such as information sources, the application of these findings to the conditions at R s.r.o. through analysis of its current situation, subsequent evaluation of problem areas, and to offer solution recommendations.
The document itself is divided into six sections. The first section consists of an introduction, and the second defines the goal and methodology.
The document then presents an analysis of managerial accounting issues based on studies of scholarly literature.
The fourth section describes the characteristics of the accounting entity, its activities, and its organisational structure. This is followed by an analysis of selected accounting items and financial indicators. The next section deals with the current status of the thesis topic, a cost-benefit analysis, calculations, and budgets.
In the fifth section, the results of the proposed recommendations are evaluated, followed by a conclusion.

Management Accounting as a Source of Information in a Chosen Company

Managerial accounting as an information source in the unit of account will be assessed in a particular agricultural company with more than twenty years of history. The company is engaged in both crop and livestock productions and its turnover exceeds the limit of 250 million Czech crowns.
The first section summarizes the findings from the professional literature, legal regulations and partly findings from my own experience too. The characteristic of the monitored company, including the interrelationship among different types of production is shown in the next part. Description of individual production processes is important for further monitoring of the use of management accounting, including its coherence with the production as a source of information for decision making.
On the basis of these chapters managerial accounting use will be described and further evaluated. Managerial accounting will be evaluated in the areas of planning and decision-making. Further, in the area of calculation, cost allocation and coding of individual cost items for specific performances.
At the end procedures of managerial accounting use in the monitored accounting unit are evaluated and some recommendations, including suggestions for possible improvements are described.

Issue of the Farm Markets in the Czech republic

This diploma thesis deals with problems of farmers´ markets. The Consumers
still prioritize lower prices over the food quality. The Czech Republic is trying to promote organic food and propagate it.This approach is not increasing only sales success, but also the renewal of a healthy lifestyle. There is direct correlation between promotion of
regional foods and selling of these products.Marketing role is in the hands of the dealers, who are forced to attract attention and sell their products.
The Marketing role is based on current legislation, standards and regulations, including notonly business processes, but also the environment. To farmers´ markets relate the same laws like any other food sellers. Another form of sales are expanding farm shops.
The main goal of this diploma thesis is the identification of determinants of consumer behavior during buying of organic products from farmers and historical development of farmers´markets.Using literature search to handle the issue of farmers' markets from their historical origins to the expected course of development in the upcoming years. Using surveys to determine their attendancein the Ústí region and create a proposal for further measures leading to the development of farmers´markets. Subsequent analysis of the provided informations by vendors offering organic products and the target group of buyers.

Evaluating of territorial system of ecological stability on the territory of the municipality with extended competence Jilemnice

The subject of this thesis is an evaluation of the territorial system of ecological stability (hereinafter referred to as TSES) in the Jilemnice territory in the Liberec Region and, specifically, in the cadaster units Jilemnice and Hrabačov. The evaluation is based on an analysis of a general plan for TSES dated 1993 and, also, town-planning documents; for the analysis, ArcGis software was used. Subsequently, certain remedies including principles aimed at preservation of the landscape sustainability were suggested. In the review of relevant scientific literature, TSES is described from a wider perspective of nature and landscape conservation both in the Czech Republic and worldwide and, also, sustainable development. Based on critical evaluation of data resources, relevant landscape including the territory in question is characterized; an evaluation of the structural parts and their functions provides a picture of the current situation. Based on a subsequent current state assessment, the thesis suggests changes to the structural parts. The information gathered therein provide a basis for defining proper methods to improve the conditions of TSES and, also, all the elements and related sites in order to enhance their ecological stability and function.
