Pospíšil, Jakub
The bachelor thesis is focused on the influence of inbreeding degree on reproductive performance in Zwartbles sheep. A brief description of the Zwartbles breed, its history and performance is given in the literature search. Furthermore, a general description of reproduction and the evaluation of reproductive performance. Finally, the thesis discusses breeding and the determination of the degree of inbreeding. The practical part of the bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of the influence of inbreeding on the reproductive performance of the Zwartbles herd bred on the Mohelno sheep farm in 2006 - 2021. The herd was divided according to the degree of inbreeding into four groups. For ewes, the percentage of born and weaned pups was evaluated. For lambs, gain, height of the longest lumbar muscle and chest (MLLT), loin fat height, conformation, and weight of lambs at 100 days of age were evaluated.

Evaluations of morphological udder characteristics in zwartbles sheep
ČUTA, Jakub
The goal of this thesis was to evaluate selected influences acting on the udder traits. They are responsible for the efficient use of milk and the trouble-free rearing of lambs. During two years, 75 ewes has been measured for udder traits and that has been compared with different influences. The monitored factors included number of lactations, resp. age, lactation stage and line of father. The average values for each udder traits were as follows; udder depth 13.74 cm, udder length 22.25 cm, udder width 16.19 cm, teat length 2.97 cm, teat width 2.47 cm, teat position 2.54 points, udder attachement 2.08 points, udder cleft 3.61 points. A statistical significance effect of lactation stage has been proven for traits of udder size (p <0.05), influence of lactation stage for traits udder depth, udder length and traits of teat size (p <0.05) father line then for udder depth and width teat (p <0.05). Significantly correlated values included traits characterizing udder size (r = 0.40-0.60) and traits of teat size (r = 0.52) Between slightly correlated values then relations; traits of udder size - traits of teat size (r = 0.26-0.40), udder cleft - traits of udder size (r = 0.26-0.27), udder cleft - udder attachement (r = 0.36). Among the most significant influences on the traits of the udder was the lactation number, respectively. age. Its increase is associated with an increase in the rate of negative effects on the health of the udder, indirectly breeding and breeding efficiency
Zhodnocení reprodukční výkonnosti a mateřského chování ovcí plemene zwartbles v ČR
Čudan, František
Submitted thesis aims to assess fertility, reproduction, reproductive performance and maternal behavior of the zwartbles sheep breed. Detected were the most commonly used methods of breeding and, subsequently, fertility indicators used for assessment of reproductive performance such as fertilisation, fertility, the intensity of breeding, the number of newborn lambs, sex ratio, the ratio of singletons, twins and triplets. Childbirth was also monitored with a focus on its course, its level of difficulty and the need for assistance on the part of the breeder. Considered was the maternal behavior in the selected parameters of the zwartbles sheep breed, both sheep divided according to the age, as well as for individual families and blood lines in the herd. Analyses were conducted on the herd of sheep breed zwartbles on the family farm in Mohelno.
Sledování morfologické stavby vemen a mléčné užitkovosti u plemene zwartbles
JIŘÍKOVÁ, Anna
The bachelor thesis deals with the monitoring of morphological structure of the udders and the milk performance of the zwartbles sheep. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to obtain and evaluate data in 10 pieces of zwartbles ewes together with monitoring of weight gain of lambs born from them. As for the evaluation of the udder morphological structure, there were no udder-deficient ewes or poor mammary health in the evaluation group. The control of milk performance shows an increase in lactation and an increase in lamb gains, so milk performance has been satisfactory for the needs of the farmer with the aim of lamb fattening.

The aim of this thesis was evaluate fertlility of the Zwartbles sheep in zhe flock of sheep breed by Mrs. Marie Schickerová. In the reporting period of 5 years (2013 2015) were a total of 429 ewes evaluated by the followinf parameters: fertlization, reproduction intensity, total rearing. Basic reproductive parameters were compared with the flocks originating from the Union sheep and goats of the Czech Republic. They were monitored factors that have or may have an impact on fertility. The first factor was the impact of age on fertility, selected second order lambing and the last was the influence line. The average fertility of the herd reached 197,13%. The average share of fertilization was assessed at 94,01%. Sterility reached the level of 5,99 %. The amount of the total breeding herd stood at 164,67%. Intensity of production reached 185,24 %.. Based on calculations, it was found a hightly significant effect of age and rank lambing fertility. Influence line was not clearly demonstrated. Statistical evaluation of indicators of fertility, the intensity of reproduction, fertilization and overal breeding showed differences in the average monitored herds compared with herds in the performance tests. In the observed herd these values were significantly higher.
Vlivy působící na hmotnost jehňat ve 100 dnech u plemene zwartbles
KVAPILOVÁ, Tereza
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to evaluate the effects of chosen factors (rams effect, litter size and age of the ewes) on the weight of lambs at the age of 100 days of the breed Zwartbles. The evaluation was performed in 2014 and 2015 on the farm in Hranice u Nových Hradů and 263 lambs were included into it in total. From the point of view of the litter size, single lambs achieved the highest average weight of 31.28 kg and the lowest average weight of 24.42 kg was achieved by the lambs of triplets. From the point of view of the age of the ewes, the lowest weight was achieved by the lambs from the seven-year-old ewes (23.07 kg) and from the two-year-old ewes (23.88 kg). The lambs from the three-year-old ewes and the six-year-old ewes achieved the highest average weight (28.14 kg and 29.66 kg). From the point of view of the ram effect, the lowest average weight was found in lambs of the line Zvon (24.05 kg) and the lambs of the line Ztepl achieved the highest average weight (27.22 kg). From the observed effects, it was found out that the litter size and age of the ewes had an effect on the weight of lambs at the age of 100 days, but effect of the ram wasn´t proven.

The aim of this thesis was evaluate fertlility of the Zwartbles sheep in zhe flock of sheep breed by Mrs. Marie Schickerová. In the reporting period of 3 years (2013 2015) were a total of 261 ewes evaluated by the followinf parameters: fertlization, reproduction intensity, total rearing, infertility, rearing of lambs born and total mortality of lambs. Basic reproductive parameters were compared with the flocks originating from the Union sheep and goats of the Czech Republic. They were monitored factors that have or may have an impact on fertility. The first factor was the impact of age on fertility, selected second order lambing and the last was the influence line. The average fertility of the herd reached 200,39%. The average share of fertilization was assessed at 91,98%. Sterility reached the level of 8,02 %. The amount of the total breeding herd stood at 159,76%. Intensity of production reached 184,34 %. Mortality was 13,34% and thus survival rate of lambs was 86,66 %.

MACHO, Michal
This thesis deals with the monitoring of morphological structures udder of breed zwartbles. Measurements were performed at 77 selected ewes Measured values for individual dimensions: Depth of udder reaches an average size of 17.74 cm. Width of udder reaches an average size of 14.77 cm and average length of the teat has a value of 3.11 cm. Based on measured values it shows, that breed zwartbles has potential for milk production as is the case in sheep improved Wallachian and Lacaune The position of the teats has an average value of 2.22 points. The teats are directed slightly to the side and are located at the lower edges of the udder. Clamping of the udder has an average value 2.08 points. The Clamping is broad and overall space between the rear legs is almost the entire filled Split udder has an average value of 2.53 points. The splitting is weak, but distinct and hanging ligament is perceptible. Monitoring diseases and disorders of the udder in the years 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. In year 2013, was the incidence of disorders on the value of 6.72%. In year 2014, this number had a value of 10.34%. In year 2015, equal to 5% and in year 2016 5.7%. This was the shortage of milk, the teat ducts impassibility and infections
Analýza reprodukčních vlastností plemene zwartbles
DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Jana
The thesis was focused on the reproductive traits of zwartbles breed level evaluation in Novosedly nad Nežárkou, evaluation data were compared with the average values of reproductive traits of zwartbles flocks, included in the performance monitoring of sheep in the Czech Republic, using statistical methods. Simultaneously, there was the effect of factors that might affect reproductive traits of the breed evaluated. 111 ewes were evaluated during the period 2012-2015. The average fertility in the sheeps during the monitoring period amounted to 175,7 % and an average rearing amounted to 88,5 %. There was a significant difference in fertility (p < 0,05) and even highly significant difference in rearing (p < 0,01) among the monitored flock and the flocks in the performance monitoring. The percentage of fertilization and intensity in breeding didn´t achieve satisfactory values, primarily due to the high percentage of futility in sheep in average of 25,5 %. All the reproduction indicators are below the breed average. Lambing number on litter size was evaluated as highly significant (p < 0,01). Ewe age at lambing was assessed as a highly significant influence exerted on fertility (p < 0,01). Influence paternal lines of ewes on their fertility was not statistically demonstrated (p 0,05).
