Working with socially disadvantaged children in nursery school
PUDILOVÁ, Dana
This bachelor thesis aimed to discover how socially disadvantaged children are integrated within the nursery school environment from the teacher's point of view. One of the goals was to examine and describe what role a social educator can play in this context. The thesis is divided into two parts: the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part is then divided into three chapters, which are composed of subchapters. The qualitative research approach, a method of questioning and interview techniques were used in the practical part of the thesis. The researched sample consisted of pedagogical workers from nursery schools. Acquired data were coded and categorized to answer the researched questions. The outcomes could serve as initial material for subsequent research in the field of integrating the socially disadvantaged children into the nursery school environment. Also, the data can serve as a guide for the general public to understand how the integration of socially disadvantaged children works and what supportive measures can be done to help them.
