Změny krajinného krytu na území Národního parku Podyjí

In this diploma thesis, I studied land use and land cover changes in the territory of Podyjí National Park during a period of almost 80 years. The background data were obtained from black-and-white aerial pictures from 1952, 1974 and 1989 further supplemented by two vectorized layers from 1938 and 2014. The main trends in the studied areas were a substantial growth of forest areas, decrease of permanent grasslands, and the agricultural areas. Analyses using landscape metrics showed that closed forest cover increased from 66% to 75% between 1952, 1974 and 1989. Moreover, during the same time period the area of open woodlands decreased by 3% (from 10% to 7%). The obtained results also indicated the gradual homogenization of the landscape, with changes in forest management having the greatest impact. Such trend might be dangerous especially for rare species associated with open forest habitats.

3D RECONSTRUCTION OF ABANDONED SETTLEMENTS OF THE CENTRAL POVLTAVÍ

3D reconstruction of abandoned settlements of the central Povltaví ABSTRACT This work deals with the use of Geoinformatic systems to create the three-dimensional model of an extinct landscape. The main subject of this bachelor work is the three-dimensional reconstruction of extinct municipalities in the central area of the Vltava River. The main task was to create digital terrain model of the original Vltava valley. The passage from Zvírotice to Svatojánské proudy has been chosen as the model territory. Two selected municipalities Zvírotice and Živohošť were thoroughly worked up. Many data sources were used in this work, such as historical photographs, historical aerial photographs or current orthophoto maps. Digital terrain models were created with the help of these datas and then the models were overlain with the orthophotos. 3D models of buildings and vegetation were put in the terrain models. Two periods were compared, 50th of the 20th century and present. Results of this work are fly-by animations and perspective scenes. The results will be used in newly built museum in Chotilsko town. Landscape changes due to suburbanization - an example of south-eastern outskirts of Prague

The study deals with the evaluation of landscape changes and ecosystem functions in the case study situated in the hintreland of Prague with the emphasis on the process of suburbanization. It analyzes the amounts, the range and the types of the changes of landscape due to suburbanization process and their effects on landscape structure and function. This bachelor thesis focuses on the memory of a landscape, especially a rural landscape village Žabčice. The thesis is methodically processed as a review. The selected area is characteristics of the physical-geographical, ecological, regional, historical, cultural and land use. By a comparative metod were changes noted in time. The results show that the selected area has changed since 1953. Main changes were noticed in landscaping, especially residential area was extended. Matrix in the area is still an agricultural land, but due to the land unification in the 60s and 70s, the mosaic character and landscape diversity disappeared. This fact had a negative impact to landscape character and a secondary structure of the landscape.

Changes of landscape structure in the different landscape types

Landscape structure is affected by combination of human and natural influences. Changes, which took place in landscape structure of Czechia depends on degree and intensity of human influence in different types of landscape. This work was devoted to problematics of landscape structure changes, which took place between years 1950 and 2018, and how did they affected the landscape microstructure and land cover in different landscape types. These changes were computed in model location of 1x1 km in size, set by random selection in landscape types. These model locations were compared based on aerial photography from fifties of twentieth century and from year 2018, and on their basis were computed landscape metrics and analysed land cover. The changes which took place in these locations were the compared. The calculations had proved the difference in change of landscape structure, especially by homogenization of landscape. Land cover changes and agriculture land take after the Slapy Dam construction in a model area

The study deals with the evaluation of land cover changes and analyses agriculture land take after the Slapy Dam construction in a model area. It contains research about land cover changes and its driving forces, about land cover changes after the dam constructions in the world and in Czechia as well. Land cover changes and landscape structure changes are analysed in the practical part of the study using aerial photographs from 50s' and using data from RÚIAN (Registry of Territorial Identification, Addresses and Real Estate) database, which was corrected by latest available aerial photograph from ČÚZK (State Administration of Land Surveying and Cadastre, 2017), and impact of these changes on agriculture land was evaluated in this study. BPEJ (Valuated Soil Ecological Unit - the basic mapping and evaluation unit of the soil system) data are used in the thesis to evaluate the qualitative changes of agricultural land.

This diploma thesis deals with transformation of the cultural landscape in the cadastral areas of Jihlava and Náměšť nad Oslavou. The theoretical part, referring to the cultural landscape of the Czech Republic, is described in depth and in the form of a literature research. Subsequently, the characteristics of the sites are explored, focusing on physical-geographical, historical, demographic, ethnographic and cultural issues, including identification of the specifics and their comparison. In the practical part, transformation of the landscape of both locations is recorded within the last 60 years, using a questionnaire survey, SWOT analysis and aerial photography. The results have proved the transformation of the cultural landscape to be evident, especially an extensive decrease of agricultural land in Jihlava and an increase of other areas in Náměšť nad Oslavou. Both defined hypotheses were confirmed.

Main topic of thesis is memory of rural landscape. The research is focused on Věstín municipality situated in region Vysočina in Nedvědická vrchovina. Literary research and comparative analysis are applied methods. In the first part of the research, basic informations concerning three villages within chosen municipality were find out. Next part deals with primary and secundary structure and is followed by landscape, physical-geographic, ecologic and cultural-historical comparision. Closing part presents results, where is stated that arable land was metrix in past, but was replaced by woods in present. Most changes were gathered in landscape comparison - uniting of lands and building new collective farms and housing estate in Věstín, contributed to the changes of landscape character.

Landscape changes in border areas of selected military bases in Bohemia since the second half of the 19th century

This thesis deals with the long-term changes in the landscape of border areas of selected military bases in Bohemia Brdy and Hradiště. Specifically, in these areas it is focused on land use changes since half of the 19th century to the present. Its main objective is to identify whether and to what extent military bases affect character and intensity of land use changes beyond their borders. The first part of the thesis is devoted to general solutions relating to the key topics/concepts representing thematic base for further work (landscape, spatial polarization and military bases). The methodology of this part is based on research and discussions of literature and other sources. In the second part of the thesis the focus is on the spatial definition and characteristics of both areas of our interest. The third part is based on the knowledge of the previous two parts, and is engaged in the land use changes research in both areas. This research has a quantitative nature and is based on the use of statistical data provided by the LUCC Czechia database, which were further processed and evaluated. Final part of the thesis is based on the results of the third part and discusses the possible impact of the military bases to changes in land use in the close border areas.
