Glass industry in Czech republic - trasformation and actual trends

ANNOTATION STARÁ, P. (2011): Glass industry in Czech republic ? transformation and aktual trends This bachelor paper focuses on glass industry, which is one of the traditional industries that had formed in remote past, and emphasizes the evolution of the glass industry from its beginnings until its current state illustrated by tables, charts and images. It analyses the historic development of this sector, namely its adaptation to new economic conditions of this millennium connected to transformation processes in the Czech Republic specifically evaluating the impacts of the recent Word economic crisis. The study outlines possible starting points for the further successful development of glass businesses while stressing out the necessity of accelerated and purposive introduction of innovations to glass production. These conclusions are based on the analysis of the development of the selected sample of glass businesses.
