Milan Šebek Title: Physiotherapy in patients with neglect syndrome Abstract: This bachelor's thesis explores the topic of physiotherapy for patients with neglect syndrome. The objective of this study is to evaluate the progress of patients with neglect syndrome who undergo physiotherapy using selected methods such as visual scanning, forced use, hemi-field patching, and limb activation training. The thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part summarizes information related to neglect syndrome, with a focus on etiology and pathogenesis, classification, clinical symptoms and physiotherapeutic procedures. The practical part presents case studies of two patients with neglect syndrome. Each patient underwent an initial examination, eight physiotherapy sessions, and a final evaluation that included standardized testing. Both patients demonstrated improvement in their condition.
