Porovnání vybraných reprodukčních ukazatelů mezi zakrslými a zakrslými beraními králíky
ČERNÁ, Barbora
The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation and comparison of selected reprodu ctive indicators between two breeds of dwarf rabbits. The beginning of the literary part is devoted to the origin, domestication and history of rabbit breeding not only in the Czech Republic. In the next section, the standards of the dwarf white sanded rabbit and the wildly colored dwarf rabbit, including their origin , are presented and describe. The second half of the literature is focused on the reproduction of rabbits. The conc lusion of the literature section summarizes the most common pathological conditions and behavioral disorders in reproduction. In the practical part is the comparison of selected reproductive indicators between two dwarf breeds of rabbits.

The bachelor work on Breeding technique of dwarf rabbit describes the breeding of the rabbit in all its contexts. The first part is devoted to domestication, history and significance of dwarf rabbit breeding. Furthermore, breeds of dwarf rabbits kept in the Czech Republic are listed and described. In the second part, the thesis deals with breeding, genetics of breeding and selection in breeding, housing, feeding, and requirements for microclimate, nutrition, reproduction, care and nursing, and rabbit ration health issues with a focus on disease prevention. The last part of the bachelor's thesis is devoted to the evaluation of own breeding of dwarf lops. Attention is focused primarily on reproductive indicators and properties, to the differences between dwarf lops with classic hair, dwarf satin, rex, and satin rex lops. The selected existing breeding was described and evaluated was the average and total number of born and reared cubs of dwarf lops from females with different coat structure, the losses of born cubs, the ratio of the sex of offspring pups, the influence of various factors on the number of litters, and length of pregnancy.

This thesis deals with the composition of supplementary feed mixture for adult dwarf rabbits with regard to their appetite preferences and nutritional requirements. It also deals with the phytogenic additives, their addition to the supplementary feed mixture and the assessment of their effect on the health of rabbits. The experiment was divided into three parts. During the first part different groups of feeds were presented to rabbits and their consumption, preferences and food behaviour were monitored. From cereals, the highest consumption in barley and maize has been statistically proven (P<0.05), on the contrary the lowest consumption was in buckwheat. The highest intake of linseed and milk thistle seed was obtained from oilseeds. The significant difference (P<0.05) was between linseed and sunflower seed intake. There was no significant difference (P> 0.05) in soya and pea intake. In the dehydrated fruit and vegetables category, the dehydrated beetroot had evident the lowest consumption (P <0.05). In the group of hot air dried feeds and expellers, the highest attractiveness (P <0.05) of hempseed cake and the lowest attractiveness of granulated sugar beet pulp has been proven. The significantly highest consumption (P <0.05) of the leaves of plantain (Plantago lanceolata) and dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) and dandelion and daisy flowers (Belis perennis) was found from phytogenic additives. In the second part of the experiment breeding dwarf rabbits were fed a supplementary feed mixture for 31 days where test weighting, condition and health control were performed. There was no change in body weight, condition, or animal health during the test. The last part of the experiment was devoted to assessing the effect of selected phytogenic additives on rabbit health. Domestic rabbits were fed a feed mixture containing 2.5 % of phytogenic additives for 3 weeks. Blood was collected on the biochemical analysis before (Control) and after the test (Experiment). The investigated parameters were chosen for the assessment of liver profile, renal function and nitrogen and carbohydrate metabolism. No difference (P> 0.05) between Control and Experiment was found in the results of most of the investigated parameters.

In my Bachelor Thesis on the Evaluation of reproductive characteristics of selected bre-ed of rabbits I have dealt with the origin, history and domestication of the domestic rabbit. I described the beginnings of its breeding in the Czech republic and also focused on the history of the dwarf rabbit. I analyzed the anatomy of the domestic rabbit and I focused on its reproductive properties. I have been involved in the rearing and puting aside of the offsprings. In the research part i evaluated the reproductive properties of dwarf teddy rabit and its crossbreeds. It was found that the average pregnancy lengh of all females was 31 days and on average one litter was born 3,65 offsprings and 3 of them were puted aside. Their total mortality was 27,4 %. The percentage ratio between the sexes was almost 50:50. The average weight of one offspring of all litters was 181 grams and the weight of the individual offsprings varies according to their letter count. Which were more off-springs in the litter that they average weight was lower.

This bachelor thesis on the topic Nutrition and feeding dwarf rabbits I focused on general information about dwarf rabbits as zoological classification, history breeding and use of dwarf rabbits. Much of the work deals with the anatomy, physiology of digestion and absorption of nutrients, which is closely related to nutritional requirements. Further chapters relate directly to nutrition and feeding techniques. I dealt with the general characteristics of nutrients, methods of their determination and the need for individual rabbits categories. Then I said feed mainly suitable for dwarf rabbits and basic principles of feeding. All nutrient standards are established only for domestic rabbits, that's why I said in the last chapter experiment aimed at comparing nutrition claims in domestic and dwarf rabbits. The experimental part involves the preparation of feed mixtures, which I fed my own breeding dwarf rabbits, familiarity with local conditions and tested rabbits and the results of the experiment.
Zhodnocení úrovně reprodukce králíků v podmínkách středně velkého chovu
Tesařová, Zuzana
Thesis is focused on assessing the reproduction levels of rabbits in middle-sized extensive holdings. For statistical analysis were used breeds Dwarf Teddy (unrecognized breed), Hermelin, Netherland Dwarf and Dwarf Lop. Factors influencing the litter count, fertilization, gestation length, count of rabbits born and reared and male-to-female ratio of young rabbits. Highly significant values were reported for variance in born and reared counts for Hermelin and Netherland Dwarf breeds, while after categorizing into quality groups was concluded that higher-weight and lower-exterior-quality doe reach statistically highly-significant differences in born-and-reared youngling count. Furthermore, the used breeding technology and litter order influence on reproductive indexes was evaluated.

In my bachelor thesis on the Current Situation of Breeding Dwarf Rabbits in the Czech Republic I have dealt with zoological classification of domestic rabbit, the history of the breed domestic rabbit in the world, the history of the breed dwarf rabbits in our country and the development of the condition and the current situation of breeding dwarf rabbits in the Czech Republic. I focused on the distribution of breeds and follows the individual characteristics of the breed dwarf rabbits. In the next chapter I deal with nutrition and feeding technique dwarf rabbits. I have described the most important nutrients and their functions, I separated the feed on classic and a dry base. In one table I present feeding ration with amount and time. In the next step I focused on the care of dwarf rabbits, namely checking the teeth and claws treatment. Is also an essential part is health prevention. In the last chapter I have analyzed the diseases that may occur in the breed dwarf rabbits.
