Multi-protocol sniffer and analyzer
Lukáš, Vojtěch ; Zeman, Kryštof (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is the design of a device that captures Bluetooth Low Energy or IEEE 802.15.4 frames and sends them via Ethernet interface to a computer for further analysis using Wireshark. The device is based on the CC2652RB microchip from Texas Instruments, which is accompanied by WIZnet W5500 Ethernet controller. This thesis describes software and hardware aspects of said device, furthermore it briefly mentions a custom designed Wireshark dissector. In addition, this thesis contains a quick handbook for Texas Instruments microcontrollers software development.
Analysis of Wi-Fi traffic
Bakó, Zdeněk ; Pospíšil, Ondřej (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the capture and analysis of wireless traffic of Wi-Fi networks. The aim of this work is to describe the possibilities of capturing and analyzing the operation of Wi-Fi networks. It describes the IEEE 802.11 standard, its features such as architecture and current standards. A selection of a suitable router is performed on which traffic capture and analysis is performed. Some open-source firmware for routers is compared and the most suitable one is selected. Tools for capturing and analyzing Wi-Fi network traffic are compared and described. The differences between the promiscuous and monitoring capture mode and their possibilities of use are described. Finally, there are described options for analyzing captured 802.11 frames.
Methods of CO2 separation from air, ways of its use and long-term storage
Kober, Ondřej ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Škorpík, Jiří (advisor)
Combustion of fossil fuels creates greenhouse gas emissions that cause global warming. The most important of these gases is carbon dioxide. Although it occurs naturally in the atmosphere, human emissions upset the balance of various natural processes. The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to conduct a background research in the field of carbon dioxide capture, storage and utilization. The thesis also describes the role of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, its cycle and human influence on carbon dioxide concentration.
Video Capture and Compression on Embedded Devices
Dušek, Oto ; Chlubna, Tomáš (referee) ; Bařina, David (advisor)
Industrial cameras are often used in conjunction with the application of machine learning. However, these cameras produce large bitrate and it needs to be reduced when processing video further away from the camera. This thesis tries to solve the problem by design of system suitable for grabbing video from industrial cameras, its compression and distribution to machine learning application. The thesis describes technologies applicable to the development of the multimedia application. For example frameworks FFmpeg and GStreamer were used implementation of the system.
Mobile Application for Capturing and Monitoring of DNS Traffic
Spurný, František ; Bartoš, Václav (referee) ; Kováčik, Michal (advisor)
Subject of this thesis is design and implementation of aplication for Android system that captures and monitors DNS network traffic and also allows to load PCAP files. Independently of input this application gives the option to clearly show data of individual network traffic packets. Captured data could be also saved to PCAP files, these can be later opened with this application.
