Analysis of the observance of the objectives of school physical education at primary school graduates

Title: Analysis of the observance of the objectives of school physical education at primary school graduates. Objectives: The main purpose of this work was to analyze the knowledges, skills and level of physical abilities and attitudes of the 9th year of primary school graduates pursuant to the proposed standards for physical education developed according to the modified RVP ZV. Methods: To collect and successive evaluation of the data was used a questionnaire survey. A total of one hundred and forty students were interviewed, where seventy students were from Písek and seventy students from České Budějovice. Further, their physical education teachers were interviewed. Results: The results of the analysis don't correspond to the expectation that the students have sufficient knowledge of the activities influencing their health and physical education skills. Possibilities of influencing mobility in the hip joint during physical education at elementary school.

Title: Possibilities of influencing mobility in the hip joint during physical education at elementary school. Objectives: Verification of the effectiveness of the proposed set of exercises applied in elementary school classes. Methods: Methods of measurement, testing, observation were used for the elaboration of the diploma thesis. Results: For motoric mobility tests in the area of the hip joint (inclination in the standing position and deep seat inclination) an improvement was found in the test file after application of the proposed set of exercises by 26 %. In the case of motorized lifts (right, left) and frontal splint, the improvement was significantly lower, by 8 % and 2 %. Support education for pupils with mental disabilities in primary schools

This diploma thesis is concerned with the issues of educational support within the integration of pupils with mild mental disabilities in common primary schools. The theoretical part is divided into chapters which deal with the definition of mild mental disability and its classification, the description of pupils with mild mental disabilities in school age, the specific needs within the education of pupils with mild mental disabilities, the issue of integration, the valid legislature concerning these pupils and most importantly with the supporting measures which are provided for these pupils. The aim of the practical part of the thesis was to find out which supporting measures are provided for pupils with mild mental disabilities in common primary schools and how are these measures put into practice. To gather the required information, the method of a semi-structured interview with selected teachers and the staff of school consulting centers has been used. To further specify the acquired data, the analysis of pupil documentation (mainly individual education plans) has been carried out. Knowledge about reproductive health at stage 2 of the selected primary school

This master thesis focuses on the knowledge of reproductive health among middle schoolers in the targeted middle schools in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part of my work, I define the term of reproduction health, describe physiology of female and male genitals, disorders in reproductive health, and types of methods -natural invasive- offered by anticonception. Another part of my thesis concerns on reproductive health related to a prostitution, and a sexual abuse, and pregnancy impact on teenage girls' bodies during pubescence. I track the representation of teaching reproductive health in middle schools through RSVP and its main goals in certain areas and key competencies. The goal of my thesis was to map out the knowledge of reproductive health among the students who have been taught this knowledge through a class. As a research methodology, I used a survey that was distributed among middle schoolers in the sixth to eight grades. The results of my survey show that the eighth graders have the most amount of knowledge about reproductive health, but somehow still lower than one might expect. Quizzes, Puzzles and Other Similar Games as a Tool of Motivation in Chemistry

The dissertation deals with the effectiveness of the useof motivational elements like different types of crossword puzzles, riddles, rebuses and word plays etc. in teaching chemistry atlower secondary school. First, the database of motivational problems was created. The tasks (problems) are designed for practicing the curriculum of chemistry at lower secondary school in combination with one of the following subjects - mathematics, physics, biology or geography. Partia collection of problems that combine chemistry curriculum with geography or biology are available at http://is.muni.cz/do/rect/el/estud/pedf/cidlova/index.html. The remaining two collections are attached to this dissertation. These problems were subsequently used in an one and half year research focused on the impact of their use in teaching on the relationship of pupils to chemistry and on the results of their education in chemistry at lower secondary school. The research was initiated with a total of 886 pupils of the 3rd grade of lower secondary school. At the beginnig of the second semester these pupils completed an initial questionnaire focused on their relationship to chemistry. Information literacy standards for elementary education

The aim of the thesis is to gather data for the creation of information literacy standards for graduates of 9th grade of elementary school in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part contains the definition of information literacy, organizations in the field of information literacy, documents in the information society, as well as existing standards of information literacy in the Czech Republic and abroad. Finally, research activities in the field of information literacy in the Czech Republic are described. In the practical part, the analysis of the current situation in the information literacy development in the UK and Sweden is introduced. The analysis of the currricula of selected elementary and grammar schoools in Benešov distrikt is described as well. The main contribution of this thesis is the analysis of the selected schools and a proposal of the information literacy standards. Aesthetical Approach to a Copybook

Dissertation called "Coppybook from the designer's point of view" follows some basic questions related to educational books for writing. Primarily it concentrates to a way of coppybooks approval - if the main stakeholder / decision maker is didactic, designer or editor. Author opens a question if the visual form could be changed. Tries to create a new design together with kids, suggests new illustrators and designers, compares domestic coppybooks with foreign onces, for example from Germany, Norway or USA. Last but not least author questions also other pedagogues, if they discuss the art funcionality of coppybooks and share an negative feeling of it.
