Comparison of cladding by the electron beam and plasma process
Rudyk, Martin ; Mrňa, Libor (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with plasma cladding and electron beam cladding. The theoretical part is divided into several chapters which is focused on description of these methods of cladding process. In the practical part the particular experiment of electron beam cladding (EBC) and plasma cladding (PC) is described. In the conclusion overall results were assessed, both methods were compared each other and possible exploitation in industry was described.
Repair of crane wheel by welding
Jireš, Daniel ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Daněk, Ladislav (advisor)
Diploma thesis examines the most appropriate solution of filler materials, suitable technology and welding parameters for the renovation of the crane wheel. Five different filler materials were suggested and have been subject of macroscopic examination and measurement of quality - primary the hardness of the weld deposit. Additional materials have been chosen to design a mobile weld system, which does not count with the possibility of preheating the base material. As the most suitable filler material, which satisfy all the requirements that emerged STEIN-MEGAFIL A 740 M.
Study on dependency of the weld geometry on process parametres in laser hybrid welding of austenitic stainless steel
Jireš, Daniel ; Daněk, Ladislav (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
The project has been solved during the bachelor´s degree of engineering technology examines the the influence of laser hybrid welding austenitic stainless steel ČSN 17240 (DIN 1.4301). This steel is the most widely used type of stainless steel, recommended for use in aggressive environments such as a swimming pools, laboratories or facilities in contact with sea water. The test specimens, which were performed on the weld bead at different speeds and other welding parameters, were metallographicly investigated. The results showed that the highest geometric parameters such as depth and width of the weld pool have the samples with welding speed v = 10 mm s-1, the smallest geometrical parameters have the samples with the welding speed v = 30 mm s-1.
Influence of basic material on the properties of the powder painting coating
Šemrová, Monika ; Vyplašil, Evžen (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
The thesis is concerned with surface treatments, specialy powder coating with application of six types basic materials under the same conditions. The thesis contains a search for suitable powder coating and surface pretreatments. It also deals with the chemical and physical effects that cause imperfection powder coating. The tests were performed on test samplesof different basic materials for thickness and adhesion of powder coating. All manufacturing and measurement processes are carried ou tunder the supervision of the author and leader, so the thesis is supplemented by photographs.
