The Rescue Operations at Fire of the Watercraft on Water Surface Considering the Equipment of Fire Station on the South Bohemia.
BOUBAL, Vojtěch
At the beginning of thesis I want to describe few primary characteristics of the South Bohemia Region. It is a region with unique characteristics, which is frequently visited by domestic and foreign tourists. It is popular for its clean environment, historic monuments and especially for sport and recreational activities near water areas, which South Bohemia region has plenty of. Tourists are also frequently seeking recreational boating activities as ferry services for their travel and recration. The development of this economic phenomenon means more employment opportunities for the region, but it also increases chances of accidents and emergencies due to an unforseen accidents which can threaten the lives and wellbeing of the crew and the environment. Fire protection units should be fitted for an emergencies such as: drowning, drowned person search, icy water search and rescue and rescue in stream waters. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and the practical parts. The theoretical part deals with the definition of basic terms describing the issue of fire of the vessels as well as the tasks and procedures during fire fighting operations. It also presents a possible danger to rescuers exposed during operations such as rescue from the vessel burning on the water. There is a listing of the basic terms related to the complex vessel shape and the aquatic characteristics of the vessel. The practical part deals with the study of publications and current legislation, analysis of the Fire protection Units equipment and their readines for rescue work in case of a vessel fire. The enclosed data map illustrates a water area with ferry service in the South Bohemia Region and selected boarding platforms for fire protection units. It describes the use of container technology; modern and economical way of transportation used by the Fire and Rescue Service of South Bohemia Region since 2004. The proposed fire vessel, mounted on a standardize container frame and equipped with special container with stored technical equipment will be transported to the location of event by container carrier from FRS of South Bohemia Region. My theosis also describes the fire protection, fire equipment, personal protective equipment, equipment for working with hazardous substances, rescue tools, communication and portable emergency equipment which is normally used by the fire units of FRS of South Bohemia Region. To achieve the objective of the thesis and to answer the research questions, I did rely on the reference material obtained via search of the professional literary sources relevant to the Fire Fighting equipment and carrying out rescue work. To process the diploma thesis I did use the following: controlled interview with the station sergeants of various fire stations of FRS of South Bohemia, a collection of internal acts of the Ministry of Interior - General Directorate of Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic, a collection of internal acts - Regional Directorate of FRS of South Bohemia, Regulations of Mechanical services of FRS of CR and the methodological aids of the Ministry of Interior of CR. In conclusion I am describing the container of fire vessel and its use for rescue and fire-fighting work on water, as well as places where the terrain does not allow the use of mobile fire fighting equipment.

KONVALINKOVÁ, Naďa
The theme of my graduation thesis is {\clqq}Community association usable for resolution of emergency events and crisis situations`` and I have choosen that because of its important. I almost was not able to imagine how spread theme this is. I have known some Community associations in the Czech Republic but I have never known more information about its work expect they work to help people in emergency events and crisis situations. That`s all. Nowadays we all meet strange situations and risks almost every day. It can be caused by human factor (wildfire, outflow chemicals) or by nature`s effects (earthquake, strong storm, flood) and we all are unprotected. And we also don{\crq}t know when human factor or nature`s effects attack again. In these situations we have some State Services which constitute Crisis management and Integration Rescue System to analyse, solve and to help people in these situations. Next help for people affected by emergency events and crisis situations are Community associations usable for their resolutions. And this is the most important point my work is all about. All af these associations are made to help people. That is the main reason to rise it. My work in my graduation thesis is to analyse out present-day situation and methods of registered procedures. I wanted to discover people{\crq}s awareness and knowledges about these associations and finally to evaluate time behaviour of the real situation with model simulations.

BERÁNEK, Pavel
The flood in August 2002, by which the territory of the South Bohemian Region was struck, initiated the engagement of the components of the Integrated Rescue System having participated in the rescue and liquidation work caused by the flood. Due to the scope of the flood, the operability of the change and supplementation of the flood measures prepared in the emergency plans showed itself as necessary. The struck places called for the immediate deployment of forces and means the goal of which is preventing and removing the consequences caused by flood. This brings other problems connected with the organization and logistic assurance which means loading of the usual run of the company. The target of this thesis was to analyze the police activity during the flood in 2002, to recommend the improvement and unification of the activity within CR police as basic components of Integrated Rescue System on the territory of South Bohemian Region. HODINA, Miroslav
The thesis entitiled "The coordination of units of the Integrated Emergency Service System at height and at altitude" deals in the chapter "Current situation" with the development and history of climbing as such and the beginnings of Czech mountaineering, a definition of the Integrated Emergency Service System including all its component parts and also how climbing disciplines pervade the units of the emergency services. It also describes the various sorts of rescue work performed by the Integrated Emergency Service System. Above all however it gives a view of the activities and equipment of climbers and climbing groups in the Fire Service. It also contains a brief description of the use of individual cable techniques, the basics of knot tying, rescue methods, materials, aids, and individual procedures for work at height and at altitude. The aim of the thesis is to map the individual cable techniques and rescue methods of climbing groups and to present a statistical summary of rescues by climbing groups in the Czech Republic over the last five years. For research purposes I have used statistics from the SSU/ZOZ programme. These figures are shown in charts and graphs. It can be seen that there has been an equally large amount of work performed during the last five years at height and at altitude. In Southern Bohemia however the trend of rescues by climbing groups over the last five years has been a growing one. During 2009 the most frequent type of rescue according to the statistics was from trees. The question set at the outset of the research was therefore confirmed.

SAMKOVÁ, Jaroslava
Possibility of being an exceptional incident in south Bohemia Paper mill in Větřní This paper is drawn up to cover key events included within comprehensive system of emergency safety measures in JIP a.s., Větřní operations. Based on current knowledge, human safety is defined as the safety of human system, which considers the following protected interests:  People, their life, health and safety  Environment  Property and public welfare  Technology and infrastructure Today, many different classifications have been so far produced to describe phenomenon, where in various areas of humankind activities occur situations that are not regarded as of ordinary conditions. Unifying terminology employed in this respect uses the phrase ``emergency event{\crqq}. This can be defined as ``destructive effects of powers and events caused by human activity or nature{\crqq}, but it also includes break downs (caused again by human activity). These can all put in risk people, their health, property or environment and require salvage or cleanup activities. This paper focuses on selected areas of potential emergency events response. Its aim is to establish a document which summarizes information on emergency events potential risks and launches the emergency event recovery system to be employed under an actual emergency. This paper refers to current applicable legislation in force, which I believe covers all needs in respect to major emergencies as well as the salvage and cleanup issues.
