Title: Development and current status of Police of the Czech Republic within the framework of an integrated emergency system in the Czech Republic. Objectives of work: describe the development and current status of Police of the Czech Republic within the framework of the Integrated Rescue System in the Czech Republic focusing on current legislation in relation to the Police of the Czech Republic as an independent entity and the legislation that regulates the activity of this component within the integrated rescue system in the Czech Republic. Briefly describe activities of municipal police. To express the relationship between the integrated rescue system and the Police of the Czech Republic. Affect the structure of command and control integrated rescue system, including contingency and emergency planning. Briefly describe type activities on the performance of the Police of the Czech Republic participates in the integrated rescue system in the Czech Republic. Method: The available sources of information to organize activities and tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic within the integrated rescue system in the Czech Republic. Aim of a document: Characterize kinds of extraordinary events and assign to them some cases from CR with concentraining on floods. The legislature before and after acceptance of crisis laws. The economic incidence and loses of lives in effect of floods. Method: An analysis of obtained information oriented to a question of extraordinary events with concentraining on floods. Interview with the specialist of joint rescue service. Results: Complexed summary of extraordinary events, their characterizations and cases reffered to CR with concentraining on floods. Prague Emergency Medical Services Preparedness for Medical Intervention During Chemical Threat in Metro

The goal of this theses is to analyse the preparedness of Prague Emergency Medical Services (hereinafter Prague EMS) for chemical attack in subway (metro). The theoretical part states general information about chemical terrorism and the Integrated Rescue System's solution. The research part focuses on procedures following from Integrated Rescue System Common Type Activity during joint action - Reaction on chemical attack in subway (hereinafter STČ 13/IZS). This document was subjected to content analysis to meet the goals. The work then focuses on the evaluation of Prague EMS training Metro 2014 whose goal was to practice the procedures and joint deployment of Integrated Rescues System members and other subject according to STČ 13/IZS. For the evaluation complexity, the results were supplemented by SWOT analysis which pointed at another usable knowledge. All conclusions are clearly organized in charts and they are efficiently worked with to set new measures and recommendations which would increase the preparedness of Prague EMS for chemical attack in metro. The goal of this work to assess the level of preparedness and to submit final protocol to organisation's crisis management was fulfilled. The main benefit of this work is a recommendation for the reinforcement of crisis preparedness at Prague EMS. Furthermore the work brings new expert findings to solved problematics.

The Effect of Current Stress on Human Psyche

Stress is nothing exeptional and if it occurs, there are certain wals how to eliminate it. I present here some information which can be in my opinion suitable when coping with stressful situations in emergencies and eliminating the negative effects on human psyche. The text is conceived as a general view of this issue. For this reason, I did not incorporate any examples into the text, but I just suggested possible solution procedures. What steps should be taken to maintain the mental preparedness to stressful stimuli associated with solving an emergencys and its individual parts. The answer is not simple, but at least I tried it indicate it.

Engagement of a rescue units to outer wrecking plan for nuclear power plant Temelin.

This work is focused on the involvement of the essential units of the IZS (the Integrated Emergency System) in a radiation accident, in another disaster or in a technical failure, damage or at a terrorist attack at the nuclear power plant in Temelín, particular ly with regard to the incorporation into the External Emergency Plan for the Nuclear Power Plant in Temelín, including verifications of their suitability and adequacy for dealing with emergencies. The current situation in the given area is analyzed in the analytical part of my thesis.. There are elementary terms defined there which relate to deploying the forces and equipments of the IZS (the Integrated Emergency System). The terms also relate to possible evacuation of people from endangered areas. There is also legislation concerning the processing of external emergency plans, concerning the settings of emergency planning zones. Also, there is a plan outlined, the plan about evacuation of people according to the External Emergency Plan of Temelin.

Analysis of flood situation 2002 in the district of Lužnice river - near the village Majdalena.

Floods in 2002, in the village of Majdalena specifically, directly touched the lives of many families. The flood wave destroyed the village citizens´ possessions and property and what was not destroyed, that was seriously damaged. Water is a powerful element one can not exist without, but if it affects human lives and causes damage, the human psyche is scarred for a very long time. "Analysis of the 2002 flood situation in the Lužnice River - near the village of Majdalena" deals with the course of flood conditions, the resolution of consequences and the subsequent measures. The main goal is to determine the current status of flood protection in the river Lužnice near the village of Majdalena, the partial goal is to analyze the flood situation in 2002 from the point of view of intervening components and the area administration. The first part deals with flooding in general. Various flood levels and their subsequent resolutions are described. After the 2002 floods, a number of analyses of these catastrophic floods causes were worked out. The meteorological forecasting method was enhanced, the measures to improve forecasting, warning and alert services were suggested. Area administrators try to raise towns and villages flood resistance with the help of subsidies. The intervention was subsequently analyzed from the point of view of intervening units, public administration and citizens. The second part mostly deals with the specific analysis of the extent of flood situation in the sandpit of Majdalena. The detailed analysis showed that the reservoir dam had been designed according to the technical parameters standard for a given time. And only the competent decision-making of the involved bodies of the region and its municipalities and the experience gained after the floods in 1997 in Moravia was a very important contribution to mitigate the consequences of flooding and to avoid the loss of human lives. At the conclusion of the thesis you can ask a hypothetical question: Is it possible to clearly, accurately and quickly predict the impending disaster as a result of unexpected natural changes? Flood control measures may be as perfect as possible, but sometimes a human being stands helpless against natural elements. The events in the village of Majdalena were only one part of consequences of floods in 2002 that had affected the whole area of the South Bohemian region.

Habitant protection in the area of accident planning during serious radiation accident in place of NPP Temelin

The production of electric energy is mostly provided through the medium of nuclear power in present days. The new alternative resources available to provide production of nuclear power are being still looked for. However, we have to consider the possibility of jeopardy caused by nuclear power production. The habitant protection and preventive measures planning are provided by governmental agencies, town and village municipalities, the salvage services and other organizations. This work is aimed to provide the description of habitant protection and knowledge in area of accident planning during serious accident of Temelin NPP and to verify and confirm if present serious accident planning measures with legal rules are sufficient at determined level and if are able to provide the measures connected with habitant protection. The target of this work was to make the analysis of present state of habitant protection as a part of serious accident planning and to verify the preparedness of competent executives and territorial agencies to solve the serious accident including the protective measures and competencies division according to their importance in the area of NPP Temelin. The object was to find out if the present accident organizational structure is created and fulfills all responsibilities connected with implementation and solving of emergency situations. The part of this work evaluation is the question survey concerning the preparedness and awareness of people living in the area of NPP in case of serious accident. The results of question survey could be seen in graphic form.
