The importance and influence of family and social environment on locomotor activity of children

This thesis deals with the importance of physical activity of children at school age and the effect on the formation of social surroundings. The aim was to find out who most affect children's physical activity and whether people have the physical activity of children correct opinion, or conversely whether fictional ideas that often lead to the cause of decline in physical activity. The literature search describes the theoretical basics. As a research method of this paper questionnaire was used. Survey data were statistically processed and evaluated. Overall, people rated as the most important influence of family on children's physical activity. Misconception had in determining the daily dose of children's movement.

The main purpose of this dissertation thesis is to determine the state of sport organisations offering mostly after school sport activities for children at early school age or even for preschool children in Ceske Budejovice. The aim is to gather information about the structure, the background and function of these organisations. Also create a list of them and offer it to public through a website. This thesis is considered to be beneficial for parents who are looking for suitable non-school sport activities for their children.
