Evolution of table tenis gaming style in respect of material development
MIKOLÁŠKOVÁ, Martina
The aim of the thesi being presented is to take down the development of table tennis and its impact on particular hit and gaming style techniques. Like in other sports, even in this field the reciprocal interconnection and conditional nature of these txo aspects is considered to be present. The thesis maps out the individual developmental stages in table tennis and, subsequently, to explicate the material equipment (paddle, ball, table, outfit) from the beginning of table tennis to the present and to analyze changes of their parameters in respect of changes to the rules during the development.
Floristic research of part of catchment area of Oslava river between villages Velke Mezirici and Vanec
BORŮVKOVÁ, Zuzana
The study deals with a description of vegetation of part of catchment area of Oslava river between villages Velke Mezirici and Vanec. The search had been realised during the vegetation seasons of the years 2006 and 2007. There are characterised geological-petrographical, soil, climatic, hydrographic ratios and basic phytogeographical characteristics of this area in the form of a search. Selected genera of the observed plants was characterised and their incidence is figured in the schematic maps of the area. There were found out 327 kinds of plants there. In the annex there are attached schematic maps with places of occurence of the plant genera and photographic documentation.
Mechanical characteristic of timber damaged by chemical anti-fire agents
Kloiber, Michal ; Frankl, Jiří ; Drdácký, Miloš ; Tippner, J. ; Kučerová, I. ; Bryscejn, Jan
The article presents the results of a research focused on determination of effect of chemical degradation of wooden construction elements on their mechanical characteristics. The damage of wood was caused by chemical reactions of basic substances of wood mass with compounds contained in anti-fire coatings. This kind of corrosion is called surface defibering of wood.
Impact of chemical corrosion on mechanical characteristics of wood
Frankl, Jiří ; Kloiber, Michal ; Drdácký, Miloš ; Kučerová, I.
The contribution is dedicated to the problem of chemical corrosion of surface layers of wood in buildings, caused by reaction of chemical substances contained in formerly used chemical anti-fire agents, applied by spraying or coating on wooden construction elements. Findings discovered during survey of buildings and laboratory methods (mechanical tests) of testing of impact of damage on mechanical characteristics of wood and wooden construction elements are presented in the poster.
The changes in compression strength of wood along and across grain caused by an impact of damage to wood by wood-damaging fungi
Frankl, Jiří
The contribution is dedicated to monitoring the effect of time of impact of wood-damaging fungi on mechanical characteristics of spruce wood. Results of mechanical tests are presented in the article - compression strength along grain and compression strength across grain in tangential direction. The tests were carried out on standard samples 20x20x30 mm. The testing samples were exposed, in ideal growth conditions for variable times (5-60 days), to impact of wood-damaging fungi. Serpula lacrymans (wood-damaging fungi with brown, dry-decay) and Trametes versicolor (wood-damaging fungi with white, corrosive decay) were selected for the test.
Impact of the orientation and width of wood rings on the spreading of ultrasound in the wood structure
Kloiber, Michal ; Kotlínová, M.
The subject of the paper is the relationship between ultrasound wave velocity in wood, tree rings orientation and width, and wood mechanical properties (MOE in our case). For measuring, the Arborsonic Decay Detector has been chosen. Sound velocity decreased from radial to tangential direction of measurement. In groups with radial (3) and diagonal (2) position of tree ring, increasing of tree ring width has increased sound velocity. In group with tangential tree ring position no significant influence of tree ring width has been found.
Comparison of Acustic Method and Drill Resistence Measurements of Timber on Medieval Beams
Kloiber, Michal ; Kotlínová, M.
The summary of selected experimental methods is presented, which were used for studying properties of damaged historic timber. In 2004, the late mediaeval fir beams in the store houses of the 15th century Castle Pernstejn were evaluated.
Long-lasting preservation and treatment of archaeological area under the 3rd courtyard of the Pargue castle with interiority to wood components
Svobodová, Ljuba
The paper concerns the conservation od the Early Medieval wood constructions discovered within the Prague castle during 1920s a 1930s. The area is situated in difficult climatic conditions, particularly regarding wood preservation.
Advanced detection methods used for on-site inspections of historic timber structures
Bláha, Jiří ; Drdácký, Miloš ; Kloiber, Michal
Research and evaluation of timber structures used within historic buildings should have consideration for an authentic substance bearing the most of specific heritage values. Modern technologies have brought new tools for a detection of the subsurface biogradation. Among the non-invasive techniques the ultrasonic testing, portable X-ray scanning and thermo-vision belong to most promising ones. There are also sophisticated semidestructive methods like microdrilling or video scope available.
Non-destructive inspection of a historical wooden structure damaged by fire
Frankl, Jiří ; Kloiber, M. ; Bryscejn, Jan
In 2004, timber structures of the 15th century Castle Pernstejn were investigated by non-destructive methods that included acoustic waves, dendrochronology and resistance drilling.
