Unit for wireless transmission of electrical energy
Jelínek, Aleš ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
The aim of this work is to prove the practical applicability of the concept of contactless energy transfer using induction coils. The first part deals with the mathematical model and theoretical proof of the concept being able to work in practice and describes the process of detecting resonance of receiver circuit on transmitter side. Next chapter describes hardware solution of the experimental prototype. The last part contains measurement results of a coupling coefficient of coils and discusses performance and notable features of the prototype.
Critical Analysis and Comparison of Possible Entry of Company AMICUS SK Into the Foreign EU and non EU Market
Balát, Dominik ; Štefko, Martin (referee) ; Chlebovský, Vít (advisor)
Diplomová práca analyzuje potenciálne možnosti vstupu už existujúcej slovenskej firmy na zahraničný trh. Cieľom je porovnanie možnosti expanzie firmy do členského štátu Európskej únie so štátom mimo Európskej únie a výber najvhodnejšej z nich. Poznatky z odbornej literatúry uvedené v teoretickej časti práce, predstavujú nevyhnutný základ pre výber vhodných nástrojov a analýz k vypracovaniu analytickej časti. Posledná časť práce je venovaná konkrétnym návrhom riešení, ktoré vedú k dosiahnutiu stanovených cieľov.
Mobile Robot with Telepresence Control.
Svědiroh, S. ; Žalud, L.
This paper focuses on developing a mobile robotic system capable of wireless movement and control. The robot can be controlled immersively via the virtual reality headset, or from any other device like a laptop or a mobile phone connected to the same Wi-Fi network. The robot houses a stereographic camera pair that streams near real-time video allowing the user to pan & tilt using only a head movement. The solution proposed in this paper also focuses on keeping the overall price low while maintaining as much room for future improvements as possible.
Nikola Tesla - Genius, who changed the World
Fexová, Lucie ; Beneš, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Čechura, Jaroslav (referee)
Nikola Tesla - Genius who changed the world This bachelor thesis tells the story of life and work of Serbian inventor Nikola Tesla and it's mainly dedicated to years, which he spent in America. In the context of that time it highlights the importance of his inventions, some of which have significantly affected today's technology. The largest part of the work, occupy two Tesla's long life disputes which affected his career and personal life. The first one of these, "war of currents", was between Tesla and Edison. The second one between Tesla and Marconi passed because of invention of radio. The development of both disputes is described from the historical, economical and technological side, which focuses on the consequences for today's world. At the end of the text, there is a brief presentation of lesser-known Tesla's inventions and various recognitions which he received for his contribution to science.
Application For An Early Detection Of Transmission Parameters Degradation Of Point-To-Point Microwave Links
Bubniak, Milan
Radio equipment of microwave links operating in an outdoor environment under the influence of weather conditions is at risk of a link failure or device defect occurrence, as well as their indoor units. This paper aims to present the creation of a network monitoring application capable of timely detection of potential failures, based on analyzing trends in monitored device parameters. The architecture is being described, as well as a graphical user interface. Several failure detection methods are covered. Conslusion summarizes the development results and outlines a future of the application.
System for Autonomous Data Collection from Weighting Sensors
Lučanský, Adam ; Strnadel, Josef (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
Cílem bakalářske práce je navrhnout a vytvořit potřebnou elektroniku s plastovým pouzdrem, webovým rozhranim pro nízkonákladové bezdrátové měření váhy včelích úlu. Sledovaním váhy úlu je možné dlohodobě sledovat zdraví včelstva. V první časti práce je vysvětlen obecný koncept měření váhy, potřebná elektronika a způsob bezdrátové komunikace. Následně je detailně popsán předložený návrh včetně firmwaru. V závěru se pojednáva o dosažených výsledcích práce a možnosti vylepšení. První vyrobena jednotka je darována lokálnimu včelaři.
Smart Home Control
Fučík, Jan ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis summarizes the subject of intelligent homes and describes commonly used standards and commercial solutions on the market. The thesis covers the design of a low-cost and easy to use smart home system which can be managed over the internet, uses a genetic algorithm for heating regulation optimization and its central computing unit is a low-cost, embedded device with low power consumption. The functionality of the system is verified on a practical application of heating regulation in a house. The efficacy of the system for energy savings is shown; it is based on measured data statistics.
Smart Home Equipment
Fučík, Jan ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis summarizes the subject of intelligent homes and describes some commercial solutions on the market. The thesis covers the design of a simple open, low-cost and easy to use system and also describes the implementation of a pilot system, which uses microcontrollers and wireless data transfer between sensors, actuators and a controller which can be managed over the internet. A possible extension of the system for practical use is also stated in the thesis.
Automated Control and Monitoring of Central Heating for Older Buildings
Mužila, Matej ; Crha, Adam (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is a design of an automated heating regulation system for an old building. The thesis consists of a system architecture design, an implementation of the system, including prototype manufacturing of the required devices, and testing of the whole system in practice, with focus on functionality and efficiency. Several hardware devices were designed and manufactured, for which appropriate controlling software was implemented. The implemented software architecture enables users to control the system using a graphical user interface, and allows for an easy extension of the system. The graphical user interface, which is accessible both locally through a touchscreen and remotely using a web application, enables users to easily configure connected devices and regulated zones, and to set temperature level in the defined zones variably depending on a week day and time. The user interface also provides statistics about the heating system. The implemented automated heating regulation system was successfully tested in real conditions of a flat in a historical building. The system can be extended both hardware-wise and software-wise.
Platform For Collecting User Identifiers On Ieee 802.11 Wireless Networks
Ilgner, Petr
At the present time the widely usedWi-Fi networks provide comfort by zero configuration settings. However it leads to serious privacy issues. The article is focused on user information which can be extracted from service communication. The article presents several ways how to collect these information and introduces the platform for collecting user data. In the first part there is described the available network discovery mechanism followed by section about designed methods for obtaining user information. The last part describes the implemented platform in detail.
