Biology, occurrence and regulation of weeds in organic and conventional agriculture
ŠVEC, Jakub
The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of weed control in cereals, especially in common wheat (Triticum sp.). It focuses on the issue of weeds and their control by herbicides in the conventional system of farming and organic farming using mechanical means.
Způsoby regulace plevelů při pěstování kukuřice seté (Zea mays L.).
VLÁŠKOVÁ, Milena
Corn is an important crop that is increasingly being applied and expanded in our countries. Due to the cultivation technology, weeding can significantly affect its yield. Weed control is mainly solved by the use of herbicides. One of the main objectives of this method is to achieve maximum effect at minimal economic cost. At the same time, the factor of minimizing negative effects on the environment is increasingly taken into account. The thesis describes the basic characteristics of maize, its basic agrotechnics and the extent of its cultivation in the Czech Republic. The basic characteristics and weed distribution are described, including the possibilities of their control. The actual work deals with the effectiveness of two combinations of herbicides used postemergence on land with different maize hybrids and evaluation of their effectiveness with regard to economic aspects.
Control of weeds in cultivated root crops
VITURKA, Martin
Damages, which weeds caused annually are difficult to quantify and its negative influence manifests annually in all crops and all fields.Chemical weed control is presently considered an important method for controlling weeds. The essence of chemical pest weeds consists in the use of herbicides to reduce weed species population under the economic threshold of harmfulness. In an effort to control weed populations using three methods: mechanical, chemical and biological. In the thesis was mapped weeds in potatoes on private land in Plasná, district of Jindřichův Hradec in region of South Bohemia. In the practical part of this thesis, I conducted an experiment that was aimed at monitoring the effects of selected herbicides in crops of potatoes. The aim of the experiment was to verify the effects of herbicides on the population most frequently occurring weeds in the root crops. The results showed that the herbicide is more effective for preemergence weed monitored. Assessment of weed infestation was carried out numerical method (ANOVA, Tukey = 0,05) in the ARM 8 (GyllingDataManage ment, Inc.) Spring 2013 - Fall 2013.
Determination of seed germination in the field of perennial weeds
DOSTÁLOVÁ, Petra
The aim of the thesis is to describe selected weed species and possibilities of their regulation. The experiment consisted of weed germination within different temperature and light circumstances with dandelion, creeping thistle and broad-leaved dock. The results are evaluated and reported in tables and graphics.
Determination of germination in seeds of annual weeds field
ARDOLFOVÁ, Helena
This thesis deals with issue of annual weeds on arable land. The aim of the thesis is processed at selected weeds species overview of biology, extension and suggest regulatory measures for dangerous weeds as for example Galium aparine L., Chenopodium album L. and other. For selected species were assayed determination germination of seeds and its evaluation.
Effect of tillage minimalization technology to control weeds in cereal crops
STEJSKAL, Martin
This diplom thesis deals with the evaluation of quality machines work for soil cultivation used in minimalization soil cultivation technology and weed control in cereal crops. The machines were evaluated for incorporation of harvest residues, uniformity of depth and size of lumps. It was further performed an economic evaluation of selected cost per operation soil cultivation. In order to monitor the development of weeds was based small-plot experiment, where was monitored representation of individual weed species and the effectiveness of selected herbicide.
Usage a method of image analysis for assessment of cereals coverage in terms of ecological agriculture
KEPL, Lukáš
Determination of the cover of plants is important, both in terms of assessing the situation and crop canopy, and also in terms of weed infestation of cultivated plants. Thesis deals with the usefulness of new methods for the determination of coverage by using computer technology. The literature review presents the characteristics of weeds, options and methods for their control. In organic farming is a big emphasis on prevention, which is a fundamental measure in plant protection. Regulate the density of weed plants is very important in terms of competitive ability and productivity of plants, which obviously affects the yield. The results of this analysis process and practical implementation methods for image analysis and comparison of this method of estimation method. Experiments were carried out under organic farming conditions in cereals respectively in stands of different types of spring wheat. In comparison with the estimate using the image analysis appears promising method that can be applied in practice in determining cover.
