The Motivation of Employees in High-tech Company
Šmedek, Martin ; Obhlídal, Karel (referee) ; Rašticová, Martina (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor thesis is to analyze the values of the selected group of employees in high-tech company. The other partial aims were to analyze motivation preferences of employees and also analyze employee’s attitude towards the company. The analysis was based on two question-forms, Hofsteda VSM 94 and question-form asking about motivation preferences. I have found out from these analyses that the environment is quite stressful, employees are big individualists and long-term orientation is dominating there. The most valuable benefits for employees are: paid holiday, education and health care contribution. The work, this selected group was doing was rated as well paid and their work satisfies them. As a suggestion it could be recommended to offer more days of holiday, education contribution and expansion of team cooperation on their work place. This could help to the company to achieve increased efficiency of employee’s performance
Primary Architecture / Architecture is Coming
Ivkovičová, Natálie ; Eichlerová, Eva (referee) ; Ponešová, Barbora (advisor)
The aim of the work is to find a suitable way and solution of mediating architecture and its broad themes into the lives of the public. To design an ideal space and suitable conditions for the popularization not only of architecture, but also of related fields such as art, landscape architecture and construction, where all these disciplines will be connected. The main part of the design is to find a suitable way to "transfer" architecture from large cities and those in which it is taught to regional cities or villages. This way of presentation and sharing would be carried out by mobile pavilions, which would create mobile studios. The entire system will be coordinated and managed by the building, where these mobile pavilions will be merged and modularized. The building will create a "center of architecture", where all functions will be combined. This centre serves as a complementary function to the schools of architecture, civil engineering, fine arts and landscape architecture. Thus, there will be cooperation between students across all disciplines with a place for presentation and exhibition to the public.

The theme of this work is Art school in Brno. Location Kraví hora, Brno, Veveří was selected as a building site for this theme. The concept was considerably affected by the shape of current terrain, because it is trying to copy the terrain by cascading the arrangement of the buildings. Near the given site, there are private gardens on the North, tennis courts on the South, Building Z of the Faculty of civil enginering on the East and on the West, there is the Observatory and Planetarium located in the public park called Kraví hora. The main idea of this project, was to create masses using geometry - creating three objects - with the shape of circular sectors, which came up by intersecting a few different circles end ellipses. An arrangement of these objects with the amphitheater in the middle realy enhance the cascade terrain. The primary function of the Art school is educational with added secondary cultural-educational function for there is a multifunctional auditorium and an art gallery.

The building is located on a plot of land with plot numbers 84/4, 84/6 and 120/4 in Olšany u Prostějova. The plots are flat and undeveloped. The building is insulated with 200 mm thick mineral wool. Part of the building is insulated with the ETICS contact insulation system with a surface treatment of thin-layer plaster, and part of it has a ventilated facade with laminate facade cladding. School on The Joy, Zdar nad Sázavou
Morávek, Jakub ; Mačuda, Michal (referee) ; Vítek, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis refers to the official assignment of the management of the school Na Radosti in Žďár nad Sázavou. It is a democratic school where the teaching system is based on freedom of decision and non-archiving of individuals in the community. This school is now located in various locations in the city and needs a new quality space that meets current requirements and standards. The school with a capacity of about 100 pupils should create a pleasant space for teaching and support concentration. The demarcated plot of land directly encourages the direct connection of the school with nature, which is also required by the given system of teaching, as the teaching is also distributed to the outdoor areas.

Teaching-space paradigm
Behro, Daniel ; Maršíková, Hana (referee) ; Sládeček, Svatopluk (advisor)
What should the current area of higher education be like? And what should be the space for creative work? Is the type of teaching reflected in the school building itself? I wonder if, for example, the Faculty of Social Studies would be made up only of social spaces? If the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering were to look like a hall for the production of automotive components, what would the Faculty of Legal Studies look like? And what about the Faculty of Architecture? Does the appearance and quality of the building determine the appearance of the projects created there? Does its structure affect the next generation of architects? Or should it be as clean and white as canvas before the first stroke of the brush is projected on it? I deal with both assumptions: the building as a pure paper, which gives freedom for creativity and does not limit the mind, and on the other hand, matter, structure, space, which shows what architecture can do. I prefer freedom of choice, which is why I want to describe both approaches in the proposal. Open-space free layout versus firmly defined closed studios. Artistic space, free versus technically and rationally defined space. Virtual space versus space of unchanging matter.
