On the effect of lacquer-setting technology on the quality of a joint
Smékal, Jan ; Petrenec, Martin (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The thesis is divided into two parts. At first it deals with the process of powder coating technology, gluing technology and rubber. Then the thesis continues with the experimental part, which includes process of making glued joints and evaluation of tensile test of those glued joints. The effect of lacquer-setting technology on quality of a joint cannot be reliably evaluated based on results achieved from tensile test. Analysis of results was made as well as suggestion for improvements of experiment for future thesis.
Modern treatments by powder paints
Turek, Tomáš ; Kovář, Petr (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
The thesis deals with the process of powder coating paint, a description of the individual steps and types of used equipment. Thesis also includes the distribution of powder paints and overview of basic information, color chart systems and the description of color tone perception. At the end of the thesis are summary of quality standards of deposited surface and technologic process of coating using in the powder coating in paintshop.
Copy Protection of CD and DVD
Řehák, Lukáš ; Říha, Zdeněk (referee) ; Cvrček, Daniel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about the CD anc DVD copy protection, its discription, classification and testing. It also focuses on the quality of the protections, frequency of use, possibility of succesful copying and other properties of these protections. Then it discusses the reasons for using these protections.
Vliv vypalování pastvin na lesní zdroje republiky Zambie
Šanda, Matěj
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the loss of forest in Zambia, in a marked locality in the southern province. For the purpose of this research, we used satellite images of the Sentinel 2 satellite, which we subsequently edited in the ArcGis map software so that differences in vegetation and it´s loss can be seen on individual images that are separated by 5 years. Another question is the use of fire as a tool for creating new areas for agricultural and grazing purposes, because Zambia is one of the countries in which fire plays an important role (it deeply affects both the historical and cultural roots of this country). It is very problematic to find a suitable and ecological substitute for burning.
Vliv požárů na psamofilní vegetaci jihovýchodní Moravy
ŠÍMOVÁ, Štěpánka
The influence of a large accidental summer fire and experimental burning in different seasons on psammophilous vegetation was studied. Vegetation characteristics were described before and one year after the fires. There were determined which treatment supports occuring of target species of psammophilous grasslands and if prescribed burning can be used as a tool of management in nature conservation.

Phytodiversity in old fields of different age and management history on agricultural land adjacent to Czech villages in Romanian Banat area
Veselý, Adam ; Kovář, Pavel (advisor) ; Tichý, Tomáš (referee)
The main aim of this thesis was to identify the main factors influencing development and diversity of vegetation on old fields around village Svatá Helena in Romania. I evaluated the influence of age of an old field, its management (mowing, pasture, burning and fallowing), soil chemical properties, topography and surrounding vegetation. Using phytosociological relevés I collected data about species composition and coverage of species of the old field vegetation. With the assistance of local inhabitants I found out the age of the old fields and the type of applied management. I performed chemical analysis of soil properties, determined amount of available phosphorus, total carbon and nitrogen and pH. I also performed floristic survey of surrounding vegetation. The data showed a unimodal trend in plant diversity during succession. The maximal diversity was recorded on 12 years old old fields. The diversity was also influenced by C/N ratio of soils. Growing C/N ratio had a negative effect on plant diversity. Analysis also showed some interesting connections between soil properties and topographic factors. Organic C and N in soils were rising with age of old field, rate of accumulation is higher on slopes. The results showed that soil chemical properties have the highest influence on species...

Vyhodnocení hospodaření v porostech Pinus oocarpa ve vztahu ke krajině distriktu Choma, Zambie
Rosa, Ondřej
Pinus oocarpa is one of the most widely cultivated non-native tree species growing on plantations in Zambia. This thesis deals with repeatedly measured data of the growing dynamic of Pinus oocarpa that is then compared to two other forest stands under two different management approaches: one site regularly used controlled fires to regulate the removal of old grass while the other was untouched by fire. Furthermore, two other main objectives will be covered in this paper. The first will be to compare the height and diameter increment of the forest that was exposed to controlled burning. The second goal will be to conduct a dendrochronology analysis by obtaining tree core samples. These samples will aid in determining the annual growth pattern from mature forest stands throughout various parts of the district. The results obtained through the dendrochronology analysis will help to identify the impact of fire on the growth of trees. This data will then be compared to the results gathered from other locations. In essence, this thesis will identify the growth pattern of the Pinus oocarpa and the method of evaluation chosen in this area will serve to either confirm or refute the assumption that controlled forest fires in Choma can have negative impacts on the further growth and development of the Pinus oocarpa stands.
