Design of drilling arm for machine-tool

The thesis deals with the design and deformation analysis of the real construction, which is a complement to the machine tool. The introductory part is devoted to the theory of drilling technology and extension of machine tool possibilities for this method of machining. The next section contains the design of the drill arm and the subsequent analysis in ANSYS to verify that the structure fulfill the requirements. At the end, the effect of changing the dimensions of the arm on the resulting rigidity and its functionality is assessed.
Machining of vulcanizing molds from aluminum alloys

This diploma thesis is focused on the issue of deep drilling of vulcanization molds from various aluminum alloys. The work will describe a brief description of machined materials and tools for deep drilling, including the production of the vulcanization mold itself. Based on experimental measurements, the analysis of data and knowledge gained from deep drilling of aluminum alloys with different silicon contents will be performed. In the end, the individual components of force loads for both machined materials will be compared
Cutting forces when drilling fibre reinforced composites

This master´s thesis is focused on fibre–filled composite materials, their distribution, labeling, usage, development and production. The aim of this work is complex processing of acquired technical knowledge, and evaluation of technological rehearsals of drilling composite materials which are reinforced by glas fiber and prepreg in terms of the impact of the machined material, wor-king conditions and the tool, and its wear to the feed force value and torque.

I introduced, in my work, new way of parts processing of “stator elektromotoru“ in the První brněnská strojírna Velká Bíteš a. s. company, we can replace prezent technology with this new way of processing. I used, in my work, technological practises using in the abovementioned company.
Rationalisation of drilling technology

Master's thesis focus on the rationalisation of the holes drilling technology in the bearing rings which are defined for wind generators. This work contains review of drilling tools, analysis of the current state and proposal of rationalising precautions. Rationalising precautions are focused mainly on the adequate choice of the drilling technology and applied tools. The most suitable option was chosen for the drilling of holes according to the economical evaluation.
Technology Design of a Selected Part and Application of the Designed Changes in the Manufacturing Process

This master thesis deals with a design of technological process description for a mechanical engineering part called „pressure plate“. The component is analyzed in regards to its mechanical engineering design and used material. Some brief theoretical prerequisites for an effective solution of the problem are summarized in the paper. A detailed research of current technological methods is provided, together with an analysis of the State-of-the-Art in manufacturing, introduction of technological possibilities of the company and a timeline records of the manufacturing process. In regards to the current methods and technologies, changes to the technological process are applied. Among these changes is a unification of machinery used in the process. This leads to an innovation of the methodology and the ways to clamp the component. Other applied alternations focus on a stabilization of the drilling process, which is reached by a choice of new tools and adjustment of cutting parameters. Furthermore, a variable coding of tools in case of automatic tool change is designed. This paper then provides two possible solutions based on proposed changes and alternations. These solutions, together with the tools mentioned, are subjects to a techno-economical assessment.

This Bachelor's thesis introduces drilling technology, introduces companies which developed drilling tools and production technological experiment of drilling. Bachelor thesis deals with drilling and division drills in the first part. The next part is an overview of several companies, both foreign and from Czech Republic, which designs and manufactures drilling tools. The last parts of the thesis deals with tools selection which were used in technological experiment of drilling into a steel box.
Cutting tools for deep drilling and their use in practice

This bachelor thesis deals with tools for drilling deep holes. The first part is focused on the basic description of the drilling process, sorting the tools according to their construction and last but not least, sorting of the systems used for deep drilling. In the theses is further elaborated an overview of materials for the production of cutting tools and ways of coating, which are used the most nowadays. There is a constant development in coating, because of the better mechanical, physical and chemical properties in this field. The last part is dedicated to the definition of the tools for deep drilling and their use in practice.

This Bachelor’s thesis deals with modern methods in drilling. In the first part, the drilling methods are divided, followed by each method description and practical usage. The second part is devoted to the way of orientation in products of couple most significant producers of drilling tools.
On the production of a shaft for agricultural machinery drive

The subject of the assigned bachelor’s thesis is to analyse the production technology for shaft agricultural machinery drive. After analysing the technical documentation, the thesis includes the analysis of current production conditions in the company. The main goal of the thesis is to design a technology of components, specified in terms of more efficient production, which includes six alternative technologies in total. Sub-variants are calculated and graphically displayed. To innovate the production process there are recommended variants of usage of multi-machine operator, change of machine tools and change of technological processes. Thanks to it the significant cost savings are achieved.
