Options of recognizing volunteers in non-profit organizations

Bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of evaluating volunteers in nonprofit organizations. Presents basic concepts related to volunteering, issues relating to the performance of volunteer work in the Czech Republic and abroad, such as the current Czech law on voluntary service, International year of volunteering, European voluntary service or monetary quantification of volunteer work. Main Chapter is a list of options, how can nonprofit organizations motivate their volunteers and evaluate them for their work. Inappropriate ways of these processes are mentioned. The thesis contains a survey by the three groups of respondents, volunteers, leaders of NGOs and persons professionally involved with volunteering.
