Odolnost povrchové úpravy nábytkových dílců vůči opakovanému působení zvolených studených kapalin a tělových krémů
Lederer, Tomáš
This thesis focuses on the resistance of furniture finishes to exposure to selected cold liquids and hand creams. The theoretical part elaborates the requirements for the surface treatment of furniture parts finished with different pigment and transparent coating systems. Factors that can influence the resulting finish are also presented. Current technologies for the application of transparent and pigment coatings are discussed. The experimental section deals with laboratory verification of the resistance of selected transparent and pigment coating systems, particularly for resistance to cold liquids and selected body creams. The effect on the aforementioned resiliences has been verified for the coating systems with crosslinker. Beech wood board, oak and beech veneers were chosen as the substrate material for the selected transparent systems. For the pigment coating systems, MDF was chosen as the substrate material. These backing materials were chosen because they are the most widely used in the furniture market. The chosen pigment and transparent systems were applied to the backing materials. The samples were then conditioned for 1 month in laboratory conditions (temperature: 23 °C, relative humidity: 50 %) and then subjected to qualitative verification of the physical, mechanical and chemical resistance on the finished surface.
Povrchová úprava starého dřeva
Gerža, Pavel
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of suitable surface treatment on the surface of degraded wood by atmospheric corrosion for indoor use. In this thesis three types of paint are compared. The paints are nitrocellulose coating, water-borne coating and two-component polyurethane paint. Surface treatments are evaluated for physical and mechanical properties of the surface. The physical and mechanical properties of the degraded surface are compared with the surface of fresh spruce wood prior to the application of paints and after the application of paints. This bachelor thesis also explains the issue of atmospheric degradation of wood and properties of degraded surface.
Vliv různých druhů povrchových úprav stavebně - truhlářských výrobků ze dřeva akátu v exteriéru na jejich životnost
Culka, Jiří
This thesis deals with the problems which are associated with protective, physical-mechanical eventualy aesthetic characteristics changes of acacia wood finishes, depending on the atmospheric conditions in exterior. Under the influence of atmospheric conditions, such as weather conditions, moisture, sunlight and temperature changing, there are changes on the finishes. The extent of these changes are compared there to depending on the orientation to the cardinal. The work is based on practical measurements on test plane and molded samples in two different shades of water-based paints. These paints are different by the ratio of the pigments in the paints. These test samples has been exposed to atmospheric conditions at the four cardinal for ten months. The values of measurements, which were realised each month during the exposing, were compared with reference samples, which were stored in a dark place without air exposure all the time.
Odolnost povrchových úprav masivního dřeva akát v exteriéru vůči mechanickému namáhání
Buigl, Adam
This bachelor thesis focuses on different surface treatments of wood, particularly on its suitability for an outdoor children playground made of acacia wood. Emphasis is placed on changes in physical chemical and aesthetic characteristics of the surface treatment, depending on the duration of the wood being exposed to the external weather conditions such as insolation, humidity and temperature changes. Another examined factor that had an impact on the surface treatment was the dependence on the orientation to the cardinal points. The thesis is supported by laboratory measurements of the samples, which were exposed to a surface treatment and then had to face the external weather conditions for eight months, during which, four measurements were done. The measured values were compared to the reference sample.
Odolnost povrchových úprav dřevěných podlah vůči oděru
Kupka, Jan
The work is focused on the influence of climatic conditions and resilience transparent finishes for wood flooring veneered chipboard. Properties of the coatings were tested on DTD spruce and cherry veneer. Samples prior to testing coatings were conditioned under conditions of -30°C, 23°C and 50°C
