Equity - legal and accounting aspects

This thesis deals with the equity and the impact of the accounting standards and legal regulations on its amount and its structure. At first there is mentioned explanation of the equity, this is followed by the brief characteristics of the legal forms of the business organizations and the description of individual components of the equity. The thesis focuses also on the possible ways of reducing and raising authorized capital. The last chapter, which represents the practical part, shows the structure of the equity in the factual joint - stock company.

Impacts of proprietors' decisions on equity

This thesis deals with the equity and the impacts of proprietors' decisions on the amount and the structure of the equity. At first there are mentioned brief characteristics of legal entities. Subsequent chapters are dedicated to the description of components of equity. Capital stock and ways how to increase or decrease it get big attention, too. I also mention capital funds and funds created from net profit. Then I focus on profit and loss from previous years and net income. Last part is concerned with the statement of changes in equity, which is a voluntary part of final accounts.

Accounting and tax view of the limited liability company

The object of this work is an application of accounting, tax and legal enactments to the limited liability company with the view of introducing reader to the problems and making a comprehensive survey of information advisable to know. The work contains explanation of company establishment including the initiation of book-keeping, intoduces to closing of books and to financial statements including related statutory duties, or shows operations within the equity of a company. Problems with transactions among related entities make significant part of this work.

Influence of buried reserves on a shareholders'capital

The Bachelor thesis deals with the problem of an influence of buried reserves on a shareholders' capital. First of all it describes the shareholders'capital and its components. Afterwards it reports the substance of buried reserves, the stadium of its turnover and especially differences of an acounting and a real shareholders'capital, which originate just from the influence of buried reserves in a company. By means of particular examples this thesis practically illustrates some posibilities of origin, maintainance and downfall of different kinds of buried reserves.

Vlastní kapitál, komparace akciové společnosti a společnosti s ručením omezeným

Tato práce je zaměřena na problematiku vlastního kapitálu v platných právních podmínkách České republiky. Blíže je zde popsán zejména vlastní kapitál v akciové společnosti a společnosti s ručením omezeným s krátkými příklady, které naznačují postupy účtování. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí, kde první část je věnována vlastnímu kapitálu a jeho jednotlivým složkám (základní kapitál, kapitálové fondy, fondy ze zisku, výsledek hospodaření ve schvalovacím řízení). Druhá část pak popisuje požadavky na vlastní kapitál uváděné v příloze v účetní závěrce.

This thesis focuses on theoretical views of owners' equity according to US GAAP, IAS/IFRS and the accounting standards and laws of the Czech Republic. Its main part deals with assets, changes in owners' equity, income, capital structure and some of the indicators of financial analysis. The practical part of the thesis focuses on owners' equity analysis in three corporations in the accounting period 2004--2006.

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o vlastním kapitálu akciové společnosti dle současné právní a účetní úpravy v ČR. Práce definuje obecně vlastní kapitál akciové společnosti, charakterizuje ale i jeho jednotlivé složky a zejména se zaměřuje na vztahy mezi jednotlivými složkami vlastního kapitálu a na možné změny ve výšce a struktuře vlastního kapitálu akciové společnosti. Stručně charakterizuje rovněž základní práva a povinnosti akcionářů akciové společnosti.

Vznik kapitálové společnosti, operace s vlastním kapitálem

První část práce popisuje náležitosti a operace při vzniku kapitálové společnosti, spolu s jejich zaúčtováním podle Českých účetních standardů. Pozornost je soustředěna především na úhradu základního kapitálu. Druhá část práce je věnována operacím s vlastním kapitálem, jako jsou změny základního kapitálu a operace týkající se kapitálových fondů, fondů ze zisku a hospodářského výsledku.
