Following gothic sculpture and painting - Series of Creative Lessons for Art Education at Primary School.

The diploma thesis "Following gothic art - Series of Creative Lessons for Art Education at Primary School" is divided into theoretical and project part. The theoretical part concists of three chapters. In the first chapter we will focus on introduction to the theme of Gothic art and culture. We will get acquainted with the culture and society of the High and Late Middle Ages, with the medieval aesthetics and view of art. We will also get acquainted with the main artistic features of Gothic style and the development of Gothic art in Europe. The aim of this chapter is a factual insight into the topic of Gothic art, designed for the needs of primary teachers and the didactic application in the practice of art education. The second chapter will introduce the possibilities of working with the theme of Gothic art in connection with the Framework Educational Program. The final chapter of the theoretical part introduces the possibilities of working with the given topic in the teaching of art education and it acquaints with didactic and methodical materials that deal with the topic of Gothic art. The project part introduces eight lessons of the art series, which demonstrate a practical understanding of the topic of Gothic art in the teaching of art education at primary school.
Body as the medium and theme in art education at primary school

This diploma thesis deals with the theme of body and corporeality applied in art classes at primary school. In the theoretical part, mapping of the body and corporeality is done in the historical context of contemporary visual arts. It deals with the body and corporeality approaches from philosophical and anthropomorphic perspective followed by development of visual arts. Development of body decoration in ethnic cultures as well as in actual bodyart formations are captured here. The practical part focuses on the transfer of body and corporeality theme into the art classes. It brings in a detailed analysis of art series, which is logically arranged in methodical steps following the theoretic part.
