Evaluation of the Economic Situation of the Selected Private Corporation and Proposals to its Improvement

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyses British American Tobacco (Czech Republic), s.r.o. company. The thesis is divided into two main parts. In the first, theoretical part the methods of financial analysis, it’s concepts and sources are described and in the second, practical part the company British American Tobacco (Czech Republic), s.r.o. it self is introduced. After that, the selected indicators are calculated on the grounds of date which were obtained from the company’s annual reports. In the conclusion of the thesis the proposals for financial stability improvement are presented.
Evaluation of Business Performance Through Financial Analysis Tools

The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the financial analysis of Madeta, a.s. during the monitored period 2017-2021. The first part presents the theoretical background of the thesis, the second part presents the theory applied to practical calculations, which use publicly available information from annual reports. The third part then presents suggestions for improving the financial situation of the company.
Evaluating of annual reports selected stock companies

This bachelor's thesis deals with ranking selected annual reports of the largest companies in the Czech Republic. At first an annual report itself is being discussed. It describes legislative regulations, purpose, content and users who are divided into main groups such as financing banks, shareholders, analysts, journalists etc., and secondary groups as employees, suppliers, purchasers and other partners. Moreover, differences between annual reports in the Czech Republic and USA as well as terms such as 10-K, 8-K and 10-Q forms are explained. The next part is focused on ranking itself. A multi-criteria analysis for ranking five selected annual reports was used and the reports were compared with each other. The thesis concludes with a summary of advantages and disadvantages selected reports and issues recommendations and suggestions for progress to writers and users.
Transport in České Budějovice with a Focus on Financing Urban Mass Transportation

The thesis explores the theme of financing urban mass transportation in České Budějovice. The main goal is an appraisal of financing resources for public mass transportation in České Budějovice. To appraisal is used effectiveness. To calculate effectiveness is used the Malquist Index. The Malquist index was created by Swedish economist Sten Malquist. The main sources of information are publicly available sources. In particular, it is the specialised literature and annual report of the transport companies from 2015 to 2019. The work should serve as a possible manual for the transport company to streamline the finance spent on urban mass transportation in České Budějovice.
Closing Accounts and Financial Statements in a Sample of a Limited Company

This work describes accounting procedures at the end of the marketing year. The preparation of financial statements belongs to the problematic areas of accounting. It is necessary that the statements have been prepared without faults and their fair value faithfully reflects the state of the entity because that many data from financial statements are important for further development of the company. The aim of the thesis is to find the areas of accounting in which most mistakes occur and try to avoid distortion of financial statements. The bachelor thesis is devoted to monitoring of financial statement of the limited liability company and describes closing of individual accounts, compiling financial statements and determining the economic outcome of the company producing automobiles components. Accounting procedures are observed and subsequently analysed. It was found that the company maintains its accounting records faithfully and honestly according to the Accounting Act. It was recommended to keep internal accounting.

The bachelor's thesis on the topic Evaluation of the Financial Situation of a Private Corporation by Methods of Financial Analysis and Suggestions for its Improvement aims to analyze and evaluate the company Teva Czech Industries s.r.o. and then make recommendations to improve the financial situation. The first part is devoted to theoretical concepts related to financial analysis. The practical part contains the analysis of the company itself, including the calculation of selected indicators. Finally, measures are proposed to improve the financial situation of the company.
Evaluation of the preliminarya and audit processes of a selected joint stock company

This master thesis deals with the topic of auditing. However, it is not about the audit of a specific company, but about the preparation of the selected company for the upcoming audit. The selected company in this case is Kovárna VIVA, a. s. In the theoretical part I first explain in detail the concept of audit. In the practical part I try to approach the objectives of the thesis. This is the assessment of the preparation for the audit and its course, or the elaboration of a proposal for effective preparation for the audit and ensuring its smooth course.
Transparency of NGOs Fighting against Corruption in the Czech Republic

This thesis discusses the topic of anti-corruption, non-governmental, non-profit organisations (NGOs), and specifically the relationship between their transparency and their sources of financial income. Inasmuch as the activities of such NGOs are of general public interest, and their output should therefore be available to everyone, this thesis focuses on the transparency of these organisations on the Internet as the most accessible medium. The theoretical part of the thesis scrutinises some key concepts, such as anti-corruption NGO, accountability, transparency and organisational resources. The research sample includes 23 organisations who declare to be fighting against corruption and data collection was carried out via the Internet. The goal of this thesis was to analyse the transparency of Czech anti-corruption NGOs since such an analysis has not been carried out to date. An overview of financing and transparency of the organisations under investigation was based on an analysis of their web pages and annual reports. The index of transparency shows the accessibility of information and its correlation with the structure of financial resources determines how various financial resources are related to the organisation's transparency.
