Electromagnetic actuator of simple objects
Kolek, Andrej ; Dufek, Ivo (referee) ; Hadinec, Michal (advisor)
The main objective of this work is to study the principles of the movement of very small bodies using electromagnetic forces. The first part is acquainted with the theory of electromagnetism and the second part will focus on the already functioning device, called coil gun. In the end, I will make several practical measurments, results will be compared against theoretical assumption and take measure it.
Analysis of MR data
Guzmická, Lea ; Mézl, Martin (referee) ; Fabíková, Veronika (advisor)
The object of the work is diffusion MRI. The work deals with it from acquisition methods to postprocessing methods. The thesis is divided into 7 chapters. These gradually focus on the basic principles of MRI, measuring parameters, the phenomenon of diffusion and various methods of dMRI. The second part is comparing dMRI softwares and direct on actual postprocessing and analysis of data of study comparison of heathy controls and patients suffering eating disorders.
Use of CIVA simulation tool for non-destructive testing of components in nuclear industry
Machovič, Daniel ; Urminský, Ján (referee) ; Vojáčková, Jitka (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to clarify the use of the CIVA computational tool for non-destructive methods of control for components in nuclear power engineering. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with the non-destructive methods used for control in the nuclear industry, their definition and the way of use. It also briefly explains the computing tool CIVA and some modules. In the practical part, is thesis focused on the simulation of the measurement using a whirling probe. Next point of thesis is real measurement using a transient whirl probe and subsequent comparison and evaluation of output data with measurement and simulation.
