Safety of technological systems
Jiříček, Petr ; Pavlík, Josef (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
The work deals with the safety of technological systems and can be divided into two main thematic units. The attention in the first theoretic unit is paid to aspects that affect the safety of technological systems during their technical life. It describes, together with elementary norms and acts solving the products safety, the most important principles for creating and analysing the safety. It clarifies the origin of company’s risk management, part of its quality management, mentions the faults in which products can be found and also describes the failures which have the biggest effect on these faults and of course on the safety too. Attention is further paid to the reliability analysis, as the tool that helps to create the products safety in the pre-manufacturing phase and also to technical diagnostic, as the tool to keep the safety in after-manufacturing phase. The second practical unit arithmetically analyses the safety of two high-voltage transformers. For that it was used the database of real operation numerical values that were gained during diagnostic investigations on these transformers. In addition it describes mentioned diagnostics methods and gives the new procedure for analyse of transformers’ safety by criteria matrix and weighted sum approach. The main contribution of the work can be considered the checkout and the evaluation of this procedure for use in elaboration of high-voltage transformers diagnostic values for analyzing their safety.
The Comparison of a Car Insurance in the Czech Republic
BENÁKOVÁ, Lenka
The issue of a car insurance on the Czech market is becoming more topical as the number of car owners is still growing. Every second inhabitant of the Czech Republic owns a personal car nowadays. The main purpose of this bachelor thesis is to compare insurances offered by individual insurance companies and to choose which insurance company offers an optimal option for the chosen client based on the given requirements. The task of the first part is to introduce the insurance as such, the history of insurance, insurance classification, car insurance and finally, MCDM. The second part is practical. First, 6 insurance companies with the greatest share on the Czech market are defined, then a portfolio of their products is introduced as well as a model example (a specific car and clients). To determine the importance of each criterion, this part follows three methods (the ranking method, the scoring method and finally, the weighting method). Their values were afterwards averaged, so it that it would result in the most exact determination of the values. Next, the final order of single variants is established with use of weighted ranking method and weighted scoring method.

Application of decision support models in practice - choice of an appartment
Guzanová, Petra ; Dömeová, Ludmila (advisor) ; Hlavatý, Robert (referee)
The target of this bachelor´s work is the appartment selection for given user. The most suitable appartment alternatives will be selected with use of one of decision methods. The bachelor´s work is splitted into two chapters. The theoretical part specifies basic terms concerning decision processes - criterion, aspiration level, options, decision maker, progressive substitutions method, indiferent curve. In its end the theoretical part conducts a survey of the market situation with appartments in the Czech Republic and describes ways of its evaluation. In the practical part is on basis of gained information selected region, from which has been performed the appartments choice. On basis of familiarization with specification of future appartment user there have been defined suitable criteria and its aspiration level determination. After exclusion of non-acceptable and domino variants the progressive substitutions method has been finally applied. The result of this decision method is the definition of appartment ranking according to the best achieved values of equalized criterium. Finally these received results were consulted and discussed with the user. Appartment alternatives placed on top 5 ranking positions have been recommended to the user for closer examination guided by certified real estate agent.

Půčková, Pavla ; Brožová, Helena (advisor) ; Křečková, Jana (referee)
This thesis deals with the theme of multi-criteria decision making, specifically on the topic Choosing the winners of Miss Agro using multi-criteria decision. Miss Agro's annual beauty contest associated with the Czech Agricultural University. Contest is always involved with ten selected students of the university who are studying at the university premises. This thesis has two parts. One of them is theoretical and second is practical part. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts of multi-criteria decision making, relationships variants, weighting of the criteria and their nature, methods for determining weights and methods of multi-criteria evaluation of alternatives. The practical part deals with Miss Agro. The main goal of this work is to compare the official results Miss Agro 2015 of the achievements results which are based on new criteria that were evaluated respondendy questionnaire survey conducted among students of CULS. The first step is to use the method for determining weights and determine the weighting of each. For the weights is specifically applied scoring method. Identified criteria weights are then used to select a compromise variant, using the weighted sum. Furthermore, the comparison of the official results Miss Agro 2015, the results are evaluated by a professional jury during the contest, the new results evaluated on the basis of survey conducted among students of CULS. Both cases are represented graphically.
Choice of accommodation for a student not living in Prague
Obr, Martin ; Brožová, Helena (advisor) ; Andrea, Andrea (referee)
Summary This bachelor thesis on the topic Choice of accommodation for a student not living in Prague consists of two parts. The first part deals with a literature review whereas the second part is analytical. The literature review and analytical section are further divided into chapters and subchapters. The literature review was used to explain the basic terms and methods which are related to the multi-criteria decision. At the beginning of the literature review emphasis is placed on defining and explaining of key components of multi-criteria analysis, concerning particularly the clarification of terms criteria and variants. At the end of the literature review is included a thorough explanation of the AHP method, which is also used in the analytical part. The analytical section starts with the presentation of criteria and variants of accomodation choice, which were used with the assistance of the AHP method. This method is supposed to determine which option is best suited for a given model student of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. The following chapters introduce two model students and their demands for accommodation. Other sections contain detailed compromise variant calculations for both students followed by the final result comparison. The conclusion summarizes the results of applied methods and conclusions are drawn from the results.

Vrbová, Lucie ; Fotr, Jiří (advisor) ; Scholleová, Hana (referee) ; Pavel, Jan (referee)
Dissertation thesis focuses on principles of multi-criteria decision-making in public contracts. The theoretical section of the thesis introduces principles and methods of multi-criteria decision-making including the determination of their suitability for public contracts. It also cover characteristics and specifics of purchasing via public contracts and findings of previous research conducted in the Czech Republic and foreign countries. Own empirical research comprises two parts. The first part of research is based on data about public contracts from the Czech Republic between 2011 and 2013 announced via the Information System on Public Contracts. The data allow investigating criteria and their weights used by contracting entities in relationship to characteristics of the public contracts; especially the subject-matter and the value of the contract. The second part of the research is based on sample data file of contract announcements for contracts evaluated according to the economic advantageousness of the tender. The data allow investigating methods of multi-criteria decision making and approaches to qualitative criteria. Findings from the theory and the conducted research were source for a normative model for selection of criteria and methods of multi-criteria decision-making. The goal of the model is to enhance the quality of decision-making in the field of public contracts. The most important contribution of the model is the connection of the three key parts of multi-criteria decision-making; criteria, its weights and methods of multi-criteria decision-making.
