Development of Windows 10 Universal Apps

The theoretical part is focused on developing application for the Windows 10 operating system. First, introduces Windows 10 in general, then describes development environment used in the practical part in detail and show overall issue of universal applications. After that compares the behavior and application design of various types of devices with potential for development and optimization. The practical part deals with the design and development of applications on Universal Apps platform. At the beginning the used technology and their specification are introduced. Then the basic structure and foundation of the new project is shown. The issue of development on this platform are then demonstrated on development of s sample application. Finally, it shows the basic deployment options of the finished project.

This bachelor thesis presents an overview Universal Applications development for upcoming Windows 10 operating system. The aim is to introduce this new features and compare them to current capabilities and practices of Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1 applications development.
