Taking Care of Seniors in Accommodation and Catering Tourism

The diploma thesis deals with care for seniors in accommodation facilities and catering establishments of tourism. It clarifies concepts such as perception of seniors, seniors and their lifestyle, seniors as a market segment, their requirements for standard tourism services and tourism trends of seniors. For the research itself, 7 hotels in the Czech Republic with food service were selected. For the supply-side research, a managed interview method was used. For the research on the demand side, the questionnaire survey method was used.

The thesis deals with the suggestion of the business concept of accommodation in Netolice. Secondary data and the data obtained questionnaire survey, controlled conversations, self-examination analysed the area, market, market opportunities, accommodation and catering facilities and visitors to the area and became the essential starting point for the processing of a business concept of accommodation category pension, whose main idea is to 100years the tradition of local railway lines.

Content of work is to analyze the motivation of staff and their pay in a hotel XY based in the South Region. Task is the analysis of the motivational factors, and pay system for workers and their use in current practice, including proposed changes in the remuneration system.
Analysis of accommodation and catering services in the area Železnorudsko

The general aim of this bachelor thesis was to analyse the present circumstances in the accommodation and catering facilities in the area of Železnorudsko. The aim was to evaluate the number, structure and quality of accommodation facilities and of catering establishments as well as the quality and the number of provided services. To be able to consider the present circumstances, was carried out an investigation among the visitors of this area, next the interviews with the owner of accommodations facilities and with an employee of the Tourist Information Centre of Železná Ruda. The third source was all the available information about the area and finally also own observation and experience. Consequently was made a synthesis of the obtained data and on the grounds of the obtained results was worked up suggestions and introductions for the improvement of the present state.
