Vliv pohlaví králíků plemene velký světlý stříbřitý na jatečnou hodnotu
Sysel, Zdeněk
In the literary part, thesis deal with the evolution of domestic rabbit, it´s expansion around the world and taxonomical classification of Lagomorpha order. It is also mentioned actual situation about inland production of rabbit meat and characteristic of broiler rabbit, which is the main product of rabbit breading. In the thesis is description of performance characteristics of rabbits, carcass value and effects affecting carcass value. The thesis describing rabbit meat, benefits of consumption and chemical composition of meat. The end of the literary part mentions the muscular system, skeletal muscles and the basic structure of the muscle fibre. The experimental part evaluates carcass value and deals with the chemical analysis of domestic rabbit muscle and the amounts of fatty acids contained in rabbit meat. The results are compared between the male and female groups. The results are a higher slaughter value, more than 5 %, in the group of females (58 %) and higher slaughter weight in this group. Research has also found a lower amount of intramuscular fat and protein in the meat of male rabbits. Higher amounts of palmitoleic, linoleic and α-linolenic acids are contained in the muscles of females. Other acids - myristic, palmitic and stearic are more contained in the male meat.
Porovnání užitkových vlastností mezi plemeny králíků velký světlý stříbřitý a kalifornský
Sysel, Zdeněk
In the literary part, the bachelor thesis deals with the history of rabbit breed-ing and their quantity in the Czech Republic. It is also mentioned classification of breeds based on their weight and the technology used in small-scale and farm breeding. Next part deal with performance, such as growth rate and car-cass yield. In connection with the performance characteristics, rabbit meat and fur production are characterized. The experimental part describes the comparison of performance character-istics of Californian and Great Light Silver breeds in small-scale breeding. Ob-served animals were weighed regularly from 6 weeks old and slaughtered at 18 weeks old. The Great Light Silver breed achieved better daily growth, on aver-age 35.84 g before weaning and 22.25 g after weaning. The highest growth rates in both breeds were observed in the 7-11 weeks of age. After slaughter, the carcass yield was calculated and the carcasses of both breeds were com-pared again. The average slaughter weight of the California breed was 2262 g and the carcass yield was 54%. The Great Light Silver breed was weighed an average slaughter weight of 2777 g and the carcass yield was calculated to be 56%. The Californian breed excelled in the weight balance of individuals regard-less of gender, the VSS breeds females had better growth ability than males.

Evaluation the utility of the Prestice Black-Pied
GUBERNÁTOVÁ, Pavla
The main objective of the bachelor´s thesis was to evaluate the reproductive utility properties of the Prestice black-pied of the breeding core bred in the company Žihelský statek, a.s. and compare these results with other breeds in the Czech Republic. The evaluations took place in the years 2018 and 2019. The main monitored characteristics were the number of all births of piglets, the number of live births of piglets, the number of surviving piglets and milk vield at 21 days of piglets´ age. Special attention was paid to the line represented by individual stallions. The literature review describes the history of the origin of the Prestice blackpied, the regeneration of the breed and its subsequent breeding of the landrace and pietrain breeds. The following target of the thesis was a description of the Prestice black-pied breed with its typical breeding traits, such as the typical black-spotted coloration without the definition of body parts and the tilted ear. The following issues were its utility properties, especially good reproduction and excellent maternal abilities. Finally, the preservation of the breed as a genetic resource has been described.
Vyhodnocení ukazatelů užitkovosti a dlouhověkosti ve vybraném stádě holštýnského skotu
BUNKOVÁ, Olga
Cattle farming is one of the most important branches of animal husbandry both in Czechia and worldwide. Cattle is the largest source of milk for human consumption in the world. Its digestibility and high contain of protein are reasons why cow's milk and dairy products have been ireplacable part of human diet for millennia. Holstein cattle is a black and white breed known for the highest milk production and great adaptability. Numerous studies have shown holstein cattle is able to adapt to many different climate conditions while keeping its high usability. Main purpose of modern holstein cattle husbandry is increase of production, shortening of calving intervals and lowering age at first calving. That is however closely connected to longevity and especially to the lenght of productive life, which are the deciding factors as the priority is to maintain cattle farming cost effective. The purpose of this work was to research factors that influence production, reproduction and longevity of holstein dairy cattle. One part is deals with observing and analysing herds of holstein cows from two different farms. Collected and analysed information about production, reproduction and life expectancy were compared using appropriate statistical methods.
Možnosti využitia výliskov pestreca mariánskeho vo výžive brojlerových kurčiat
Zeliková, Bibiana
This thesis deals with the influence of 5 and 15 % milk thistle seed cake supplements in the compound feed for fattening broiler chickens Ross 308. The number of 75 roosters was divided into three equal groups, whilst the first experimental group (MT5) received the compound feed containing 5 % of milk thistle, the second experimental group (MT15) received the compound feed with 15 % of milk thistle seed cake. The third group, the control (K), was fed a mixture without any addition of milk thistle. We were recording and evaluating an average weight, weight gains, the feed consum-ption, the feed conversion and the carcass yield. The feed consumption was significantly lower in both groups fed with the milk thistle supplement, the feed conversion ratio also decreased in both experimental milk thistle groups, the optimal values being reached only in the control group. The carcass yield was obviously affected in a negative way (P <0.05) by the addition of the milk thistle supplement. Therefore we can confirm that the milk thistle supplements in the amount used in this experiment are not a suitable com-ponent in the compound feed of broiler chickens.
Raising pigs Czech Landrace breed in Czech Republic
KOŘÍNKOVÁ, Hana
The aim of this thesis was to describe the development and changes in the breeding work of Czech Landrace breed.Furthermore, this work deals with the processing of development in the numbers of sows of this breed. The materials obtained from the Association of Pig Breeders in Bohemia and Moravia process for monitoring performance (number of litters , number of piglets born and live, milking and the interim). Part of this thesis was the evaluation of the parameters of field tests (average daily gain, muscle percentage and average backfat thickness) and results in a unified test. The conclusion was suggested draft measures for breeder pigs in a nucleic Reserve Czech Landrace breeds.
