Ability of the future elementary school teachers to provide the first aid to pupils at live-threatening conditions

Title: The ability of the future elementary school teachers to provide the first aid to pupils at live-threatening conditions Summary: This thesis is focused on the ability of future elementary school teachers in providing first aid to pupils in a life-threatening conditions. The introduction describes the motivation that has led to this topic and follows the objectives set for this thesis. The theoretical part is dedicated to defining first aid, inclusion of this topic into the school documents and programs, as well as a brief specifics of a child of a younger school age from the perspective of providing first aid, describes how to contact emergency services and focuses on prevention. It describes the universal process of providing first aid in three steps and complements it with practical knowledge gained from experience with pupils of younger school age. The practical part deals with the ability of future teachers in first aid in life-threatening condition, verified by the survey. Further analyzes whether future teachers are able to react correctly in life- threatening situations of their pupils. In conclusion, there is a brief assessment of achieved goals and recommendations for further development in providing first aid. Teacher versus modern technology in classroom - the cognitive study

The thesis deals with a teacher's attitude on modern technology during educational processes and what influences these technologies bring into educational processes. The aim of this thesis is to explore current school environments and also a teacher's judgement and relations to technologies. Inspiration for this thesis was the Edwin Hutchin's research (1995), who was exploring the working process on a U. S. Navy ship. This author concentrated on a human's cognition, which is distributed through the common activity among the members of crew and tools which are used. If the members of crew make mistakes by using tools or the conditions are not fulfilled for work with them then these tools could not be used correctly. The theoretical part focuses on defining professional pedagogical terms however afterwards it describes characters of teachers and their specifics. Eventually, it compares school institutions with the technological system. The practical part includes my qualitative research through observations and following interviews with high school teachers to find out their opinions on modern technologies. Student with Autism Spectrum Disorder - Teacher's Perspective

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of students with autism spectrum disorder educated in elementary schools. The aim is to find out how teachers perceive these students. The theoretical part is focused on autism spectrum disorders, especially diagnosis of Asperger syndrome, students with this disorder, teachers and educational and training approaches to these students. The practical part explains the research metodology, which is based on semi-structured interviews with teachers who have experience with pupils with ASD a qualitative analysis of these interviews. Title: Floorball - Manual for teachers at grammar schools and beginnig coaches Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to describe individual player skills including field players and goalkeepers and to describe the very basics of offensive and defensive plays. This thesis is strongly aimed on floorball basics, that appear during all age groups of students at grammar school. Every single piece of information within this thesis is usable for everyone inside floorball training process, but designated for very beginners. Methods: In our thesis we used methods of theoretic knowing and information processing.Last but not least analysis,comparisob and research of Czech and international literature. Experience of English Teachers with Students with Learning Disabilities

The aim of this diploma thesis is to find what stance the particular teachers of primary and secondary schools (N=50) adopt on the problem of learning disability, especially dyslexia. Very important is to study their awareness and knowledge of this issue, their opinions and especially their personal experience. In the theoretical part of the work the history and characteristics of learning disabilities are introduced, then there is the focus on dyslexia particularly where causes, diagnostics and possibilities of reeducation are presented as well. The important part of these issues is a help of specialists which is also a component of the theoretical part. The next section is focused on teaching of foreign languages, especially English language, where the suitable methods and possible teaching aids for learning disabilities are mentioned. In the practical part of this thesis three case interpretations of pupils/students with learning disabilities are presented as well as the research - the questionnaire survey - itself. There is good knowledge of teachers in this topic which is obvious from the result of this research, at the same time their experience with these children is significant, their opinions on mixed classes are predominantly positive. Media picture of the teacher in the Czech cinematography in the period after the year 2000

The thesis "Media Picture of a Teacher in the Czech Film in the Period Since 2000" is construed as one of a theoretical-empirical nature. Its theoretical part has set out two objectives. First, a process, through which media takes part in construing the reality and building up a discourse on the present teacher, is being described in such part. Another objective rests in a brief depiction of the current state of a teacher profession, and a description of the academic discourse, which is being presented by a pedagogical science with respect to a figure of the teacher. In addition, selected Czech films creating a media picture of the teacher that are subject to a critical discourse analysis in the empirically based part of the thesis are presented in the theoretical part thereof. Individual types of discourse, which these films propose with respect to a teacher, are being commented on at the conclusion of such thesis. Teacher, collegiality and collaboration

The thesis is focused on collaboration, cooperativeness, and mutual communication of teachers that represents one of the key pillars of the successful process of education. The cooperation of teachers is very important in the new conception of the school education program as well as in fulfilling cross-sectional topics and interdisciplinary relationships. The theoretical part describes basic terms, teacher's personality, his (her) roles and profession competencies, authorities and reputation of the teacher. The theoretical part also features information regarding collaboration of teachers in general, typical forms of the collaboration, deals with the role of school in teachers' collaboration. The aim of the empirical part is to map a topic of collaboration and cooperativeness among high school teachers. An additional aim is to analyze whether the cooperativeness and collaboration represents a benefit for high school teachers, and, eventually what might hinder such collaboration.
