Thesis supervisor prof. PhDr. Petr Mareš, CSc. The thesis deals with the topic of speech and communication among students and teachers in Czech films from the secondary school environment. Due to the interdisciplinary character of the research, the theoretical part is based on the scientific literature reviewing the history of Czech film industry, communication at school, the language of youth, stylistics of artistic expression and language in the film. Empathy of Teacher in Educational Theory and Practice

The thesis deals with the theme of empathy of teacher in educational theory and teaching practice. Its objective is to bring on an analysis of major Czech and foreign educational theories an overview of empathy as specific skills of teacher, its development and position within the given educational concept. The theoretical part first deals with the development of the concept of empathy in the context of psychology, differences between the concepts of sympathy and empathy, its relationship to sex, emotional intelligence, sociability, then focuses on empathy in the context of educational communication at school. The main part consists of analysis of important domestic pedagogical concepts of domestic authors, such as Comenius, Lindner, Úlehla, Chlup, Uher and Příhoda. Among foreign authors are, for example, Rousseau, Pestalozzi, Herbart, Dewey, Steiner and Rogers. The aim of the empirical part is to implement and with the use of relevant research tools to verify the effectiveness of the learning program developing empathy of future teachers. The Diploma Thesis Teacher's Creativity in the Educational process at Primary School for Students with Mild Intellectual Disabilities deals with the development of reading skills and competency of students through the reading workshop technique. The thesis is divided in two parts. The first theoretical part is focused on the definition of the basic terms, such as creativity, creative teaching, creative teacher, educational process, and so on. Furthermore, it focuses on the theoretical concepts of the reading workshop technique. In the practical part, which is taken as a case study, the author examines the practical use of reading workshop technique, through which she tries to improve the reading competency of students. The second part is focused on the reading workshop technique functionality in practice. Particularly, the author deals with the practical application of the reading workshop technique on students at Primary School for Students with Mild Intellectual Disabilities.

Application of the Innovative Teaching Methods in Education at Primary School

My master's thesis with a title Possible Applications of Innovative Methods for Reading Literacy Development in Elementary School is aimed at the critical thinking methods. These methods lead pupils in elementary school to a development of reading literacy. The theoretical part of my work provides an overview of the curriculum reform and the following changes in learning. The terms teacher, innovation, pedagogical constructivism and reading literacy are explained. The key competences of primary education are described, because their development and fulfilment are important goals of education. Furthermore, the educational programme Reading & Writing for Critical Thinking and the three-phase model of learning with its phases learning, awareness and evocation with emphasis on methods supporting a reading literacy of pupils are narrated. The methods of critical thinking supporting reading literacy of pupils are examined in the practical part of my work. The action research with help of an observation method is used in order to evaluate the impact of the critical thinking methods on the development of key competences and level of reading literacy of pupils. Title: The ability of the future elementary school teachers to provide the first aid to pupils at live-threatening conditions Summary: This thesis is focused on the ability of future elementary school teachers in providing first aid to pupils in a life-threatening conditions. The introduction describes the motivation that has led to this topic and follows the objectives set for this thesis. The theoretical part is dedicated to defining first aid, inclusion of this topic into the school documents and programs, as well as a brief specifics of a child of a younger school age from the perspective of providing first aid, describes how to contact emergency services and focuses on prevention. It describes the universal process of providing first aid in three steps and complements it with practical knowledge gained from experience with pupils of younger school age. The practical part deals with the ability of future teachers in first aid in life-threatening condition, verified by the survey. Further analyzes whether future teachers are able to react correctly in life- threatening situations of their pupils. In conclusion, there is a brief assessment of achieved goals and recommendations for further development in providing first aid. Teacher versus modern technology in classroom - the cognitive study

The thesis deals with a teacher's attitude on modern technology during educational processes and what influences these technologies bring into educational processes. The aim of this thesis is to explore current school environments and also a teacher's judgement and relations to technologies. Inspiration for this thesis was the Edwin Hutchin's research (1995), who was exploring the working process on a U. S. Navy ship. This author concentrated on a human's cognition, which is distributed through the common activity among the members of crew and tools which are used. If the members of crew make mistakes by using tools or the conditions are not fulfilled for work with them then these tools could not be used correctly. The theoretical part focuses on defining professional pedagogical terms however afterwards it describes characters of teachers and their specifics. Eventually, it compares school institutions with the technological system. The practical part includes my qualitative research through observations and following interviews with high school teachers to find out their opinions on modern technologies. Student with Autism Spectrum Disorder - Teacher's Perspective

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of students with autism spectrum disorder educated in elementary schools. The aim is to find out how teachers perceive these students. The theoretical part is focused on autism spectrum disorders, especially diagnosis of Asperger syndrome, students with this disorder, teachers and educational and training approaches to these students. The practical part explains the research metodology, which is based on semi-structured interviews with teachers who have experience with pupils with ASD a qualitative analysis of these interviews. Research data is presented, interpreted and results of the research are compared with relevant theories.
